Location faces beach at great value !

Needs larger and cleaner windows. Weather facing beach hard on the facility. Staff/Mgr aware needs updating & new beds. La Quinta should invest in this property. Great value for the rates. Nice pool. Needs queen beds, earlier check in, and later breakfast as beach stay. Can't be beat for the price.

Not good

Pros: very close to the beach
Cons: Clean carpet, Tub that drains, updated rooms, exterior up dated.
Location: lot to do and see
Paid extra for a room with a view, wasted the money. Carpets are very dirty, tub didn't drain properly, room old and out dated. Staff was very friendly. Not much of a breakfast. Will not use this hotel again,

Just For Sleep is ok

Pros: Close to the beach
Location: The Museums, Muddy Gardens, the beach
We came to Galveston for a long Thanksgiving weekend, we choose la Quinta because we have a good experience in Corpus Christi. We are very disappointed, When I got to the room I have the feeling they did not change the bed, so the next day I took everything out the bed hoping they will get the message, When we return to the room after a long day of activities we found the room the same as we left in the morning, they did no make the bed, not change towels or clean the room. My husband went to the front desk and complained, they sent a housekeeper she change the bed and told us that she has to leave soon, not apology. The food also is not the best,we went somewhere else for breakfast. The toiletries very cheap.

Pros: Location
Cons: Bed bugs
Location: Walk along ocean Close to stores and restaurant
Bed bugs have me itch until I went home. Nice locations

Roaches!

Hotel is in a great location, biggest problem for this hotel is roaches! Tried to find another hotel close by, but because it was rally weekend, no luck! Turned lights on at night, roaches would run everywhere! Never again!

Just an overpriced place to stay

This one night stay was before departing on a cruise, but when I saw Galveston, I wished that we could spend another day there. Its a pretty town with beautiful architecture and a fun looking shopping street, plus the ocean. Hotels in Galveston are vastly overpriced. The same amount of money in a big city would get you a much better room.
