Great room, great location, great price

Pros: Clean rooms and comfortable pillows/mattress
Cons: For some reason I think if you had a sign that said specificially - "pull up to here for registration" it would prevent back up into the street. :)
Location: It is right where you want to be, blocks away from Pleasure Pier, ocean across the street and many restaurants.
I was only in town for one night and it was very easy to get too, beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean. I felt that for the prices for the area, you got more than what you paid for. Great experience.

Nice older Hotel across from Seawall Beach

Pros: Location, Staff, and Beds
Cons: Matching chairs maybe lol
Location: Beach is right across the street. Denny's is next door. Pleasure pier is a short walk down the sea wall.
The staff was very friendly. I arrived about an hour early and they accommodated me. My kiddo was acting silly at the time and they played along and made her laugh. Room was clean well kept. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the beds were. This hotel isn't pricey. The chairs were mismatched, but that's about the only con. This hotel is a walk across the street to the beach. Super convenient. Breakfast was great. You have a selection of waffles, pastries, fruit, and boiled eggs. Juices, milk, and coffee is also available. At check out the staff was voluntarily helpful with other attractions on the Island.

Not the best place to stay

I have always loved staying at LaQuinta when we travel, it this one was not good at all. The room was somewhat clean but not the best cleaning I've seen. There was trash behind the dresser and we saw cockroaches in the bathroom. None of the pop machines worked to get a drink, we needed up walking to Denny's for pop. The ice machine had roaches in it. Also the were three very big water roaches at the pool when we went swimming. Not the cleanest hotel.

Not the Hotel for me

This hotel does not meet the quality that I come to expect from La Quinta Inn. The staff at the Hotel was great, the bed was comfortable and that is where the complements stop. On the last day of my stay the pumping system started to back up. We had to use a local fast food restraint for the use of their tolit facility. The staff did apologise for the the problem and the other complaints but that does not help to reduce my feeling of being cheated.

Great location.

The hotel has a very nice lobby and breakfast area. The room was very clean and spacious. Location was excellent. The only problem was the exterior. It was old and in disrepair.

It wasn't an updated hotel, but it wasn't outdated either. It was nice and cozy offering the essentials. Overall, it was good for a night staycation!

Excella stay night before a cruise

Hotel staff were friendly. Room was clean. Hotels in a great location across from the beach, and near good restaurants. Free breakfast was waffles, eggs and danish. We enjoyed our stay here.

Cockroaches

We checked in and everything seemed fine at first although the surrounding area did not feel safe. Around 5am we woke to use the washroom and as lights turned on in washroom, cockroaches scattered, some out of the coffee maker! We checked out ASAP and went elsewhere. When notifying the staff in lobby at checkout of what had happened, they completely ignored our comments and replied with have a great day. Clearly no concern at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those with young children due to the surrounding area.
