We have stayed here once before on our way down to Galveston because it is generally less expensive than on the island. The price was good. Room was okay, but floors were kind of dirty. The breakfast wasn’t worth eating, and staff were kind of scarce. Overall, okay for the price.

I paid for this hotel to SLEEP at. I put the do not disturb sign on the door before I went to bed. Checkout was not til 11:00am, yet housekeeping started banging on my door and decided to start walking in around 9:15 am (again, do not disturb sign on door still). Since I was awake, I walked down to the front desk and paid full price for another night just to get a few hours of sleep. Lady let me keep the same room, I went back upstairs, fell asleep for maybe 20 minutes and housekeeping walked in my room AGAIN to wake me up and kick me out. Rudly told me I need to “actually get up and go downstairs if I wanted to stay any longer”. WHICH I HAD ALREADY DONE. So irritated with not getting any sleep I just left, since I was definitely awake anyway. Paid for 2 nights of a hotel stay to get maybe a couple hours of (very) interrupted sleep. Left before noon and never went back. What is the point of paying for a place to sleep if they won’t let you sleep lol

I do NOT like this hotel! TV doesn’t work and when I told the receptionist about it she acted like she didn’t care and provided no help to fix the issue or offer any accommodation! I will NEVER book here again or any LaQuinta EVER again!
