Unfortunately this place disappointed us so much. We were met by a receptionist who couldn't understand us, we are British, we're speak English like you do! The was small, cold, damp, dirty, and we were right next to the lift, so we heard that EVERY time it moved. Also had building work in the rooms next to us, nothing mentioned about this at all. The beds felt damp like noones been in them for month's. You dont see a sign for the hotel and end up driving passed. No, the best experience.

Very run down, carpets nasty. Wasn’t clean. Items left from previous tenants (used personal hygiene items) breakfast wasn’t worth eating Staff was friendly but for the price it should have been at least clean

Adequate property for a stay prior to a cruise. Rooms were overbooked so we were not given what we paid for. Check in was slow. In fact, while i was checking in another woman came up and started complaining about her room and i was just dropped by the clerk for about 20 minutes while she helped the other woman. Also photos posted are definitely not all from this property.

The outer facade was nice entrance and lobby and breakfast area was good. The nite staff on arrival was pleasant yet totally confused with our reservation she eventually got use in appropriate rooms but the cleanliness was sub par the bathroom was atrocious no care was given to clean toilet and the floor was not cleaned when I wiped floor found a few long dark hairs. A bit concerning ..the beds were clean and adequately made..the floor carpet although vacuumed was filthy. Old and worn. Not what I expected for the price we were charged. The family we chatted with ndicated they pd one third the amount we were charge. Disappointed Expedia used this hotel in their offering.

The women at the front desk was very pleasant, breakfast was ok, but the hotel was dirty. We checked in and the room smelled like wet dog. There were someone’s dirty shorts left on the floor and black stuff all over the bed.

Property is outdated. The floor needs renovation, the wood was popping out. The elevator was very damaged. There was people running all night and banging on doors. The hotel is full of rust. When arriving the lady was rude and she said absolutely no smoking was allowed and the place smelled like smoke and I saw a couple of people smoking in the hotel. This place needs renovations and better employees. My card declined because it was an unusual transaction so the lady came back to the window and yelled she needed another card because mine had declined, she ignored me when I was trying to explain and tell her to do it again. I felt so uncomfortable because there was people next to me and she told me to move out of the way because she was going to attend to the person behind me. So rude!!

Overall, a dirty experience. Mattress was highly yellowed, old and lumpy. Peeling back the clean sheets was unsettling. Breakfast was better than expected. Vending soda machine was broken, did not dispense soda twice but was charged for them. Saw a roach creator out from under the soda vending machine as I struggled to get a soda.

We were booked for one night before our cruise. There were issues with my passport and unable to go on the cruise. We went back to Quality Inn to spend our week there. The staff were so kind and helpful. They made suggestions about who to contact in regards to my passport. They were also very helpful in looking up #'s and locations for us. They also helped us with transportation info, dining out recommendations,every time they seen us a warm, friendly hello, and could they do anything to help us out. If we ever get back to Galveston we"ll definetly stay there.

I booked a great rate with a hot breakfast included. Parking was easy, location is convenient (61st street). The room was noisy, I could hear traffic and the people stomping around above my room, but I sleep with white noise so it wasn’t a big deal.

We checked in and were given room 204. Upon entry there were bed bugs right on the pillows. When I passed on the complaint to the front desk; no apologies, no thanks for letting them know. Only, passed on a new set of room keys. Expedia and Trip Advisor have this hotel rated as a 4star hotel. Unbelievable! The actual state of lack of cleanliness in the rooms, bed bugs in the room, and not so professional service at the front desk; should be given less than 2star rating! Rather disappointing and harder to trust Expedia and Trip Advisor ratings. I’m very disappointed!

Overall, a good place for an overnight stay before/after a cruise destination. Facilities were clean and staff were efficient. Friendly emails of reminder and info were appreciated. Breakfast was ample and quite good. Very clean. Furnishings are quite dated and worn down so I gave 4 stars on that.
