A nice hotel with sports and swimming areas. NOT set in city centre so you don't get the constant night noise of a active young city, but you will need a car or use taxis to get in and out, to far to wa!k.

Great B&B with an ocean view. Very comfortable and clean. The room was really small and desperately needed a shelf, towel bars/hooks in the toilet. Staff was exemplary: courteous, helpful and friendly. The entire place was really, really clean! It's a little far from downtown, not walkable but only about at 12€ taxi. Would definitely recommend.

It was a really nice hotel that is in a great location right near the beach. The apartment was spacious, clean and had great views. The check-in was easy and the staff were very nice and helpful. It is not in Galway city center, but that is easy to get too. Instead, it is on the beach and the waterfront. We would stay here again.

"Nice guesthouse in quieter area but close to city"
We were a but apprehensive as this was a last minute booking and some of the reviews were not favorable but we were pleasantly surprised. We were in a superior double and it was very comfortable with good views of the sea (we didn't find traffic noise a problem with open windows overnight).

Stretching 50 kilometers along an inlet on Ireland’s west coast, Galway Bay is one of the most picturesque locales in the world—rugged cliffs, sandy beaches, and seaside villages offer views over the bay’s many islands. Galway Bay is known for a unique type of sailing vessel, the Galway Hooker; sailing and fishing are still popular activities for visitors hoping to get a closer look at the bay.
