Not worth the price we paid overrated hotel
Service at the restaurant could be a bit faster we waited a while. Room very dated and could do with a makeover as does the whole hotel. Heating not on in morning had to ring reception 2 times to get them to leave on heat. The bed sheets had holes in them. Window in our room had flaked paint on window ledge. Walls dirty and stained. As for the swimming pool area the lockers had no keys so anyone could steal your belongings.

Bathroom wasn't clean, found hairs in tub. Room very noisy, walls thin and outdated. Town is small and not very tidy. Pub food was great, loved the brown bread with soup. Salad was amazing too.

Not having air conditioning was fine everywhere else in Ireland because we opened the windows. Despite having the windows open it was too warm in the room to sleep. Loud traffic outside the room as well as an entry ramp made the room very loud. The food in the restaurant was very good but the wait staff were very busy chatting with each other so it is hard to get waited on. All the staff were very nice. There is a large swimming pool, hot tub and gym. A hip abductor/ adductor would be a good addition to the gym.

The room was nice, clean, a bit aged, but nice. Enjoyed the pool and the thermal rooms. Dinner service on a Saturday night was rather slow though. One person on the bar on a Saturday night is definitely not enough. Waited about half an hour to pay the bill

Room upgrade appreciated - nice room with modern relaxing colours Towels very thin and worn - only toiletries was a combined hair / body wash No tissues. Bar food ok. Breakfast poor - small buffet table with very limited options- cooked breakfast was ok but again limited if you were staying more than a couple of nights. Overall feeling of being a bit run down. Pool looked good but was busy with what looked like local kids lessons. Don’t think we would return

Hotel rather tired. Facilities need a make over. I paid for two nights with breakfast INCLUDED. I was challenged on both days that I hadn't paid for breakfast (embarrassing!). When I came to leave I was asked to pay for the whole stay again. When I asked for my booking to be checked reception blamed the booking company for getting my payments wrong. Not true Reception had not checked my details.

Extremely disappointing, do not recommand
Very disappointing. Staff ignores you when you arrive as they are "too busy", the heat in the room was excessive and we couldn't change it - so it felt like a sauna-, the shower was broken and only had burning water -so had to shower in the sink-, and the breakfast room was basically like a fridge. We did not enjoyed the breakfast, both for the food (scrambled eggs that comes in Tetra packs, no thanks !) and for the room which was freezing. The staff was clearly having struggle to manage the room temperature, and did not even apologize or say anything about it. Very unprofessional and unfriendly overall, from A t Z.

We had pleasant stay over the weekend. Spa facilities were good. Altough swimming pool was quite busy on Saturday afternoon. Towels are free of charge for the swimming pool & swimming hats are mandatory(3euro in the hotel). Breakfast was ok.. irish Breakfast, cereal & fruits, with tea of coffee. There is also live music every Saturday in hotels Pub. I would recommend this place for short stay.
