We used the hotel mainly as a base. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good comfortable room, clean and spacious. Cute town, enjoyed the farmers market

Dated

Looks like it has potential from the outside but inside the room and the bathroom in particular are very tired. Lots of black all around the bath sealant and tiles. Very cheap plastic toilet seat and no toilet brush. Wouldn't say that the rooms are not being cleaned, just tired and old. Double bed was 2 very uneven and lumpy singles pushed together with spring digging in. Couldn't connect to wifi and were told there is a beam blocking single to room. Fair enough, but why provide a wifi code??? Lady who checked us in was friendly and professional, as was the man who told us about the wifi. Not the worst place we've ever stay and okay for 1 night, but not a patch on most Irish B&Bs in that price range

Wonderful Hotel

Posted Jan 13, 2016
Pros: Location, small town feel & free parking
Location was good, so was the staff & food. We had a great time, check out the castle & go across the street to Tullys for a pint or 2, great pub with pool table & dart board.

Mold in the bathroom.

Posted Oct 8, 2015
Hotel was in the middle of town, and could've been a good place to stay. Unfortunately, the mold in the bathroom was unbelievable, and the town was closed for the season. Food was good in the restaurant. Breakfast was very good. Friendly staff.

Nostalgic

Pros: Location, location, location and services
Cons: Don't mess it up
Location: Central to everything with excellent parking facilities and an easy walk to the castle. Very charming in appearance and design.
This was a great place to stay with a great lounge, excellent staff, and quaint appearance.
