The cabin was disappointing. The bed was very uncomfortable. The bedding and couch were stained. The air condioner was filthy and super loud. There was no bathroom sink. Had to use the kitchen sink. Was informed, we had to turn most everything off to use hair dryer in fear of tripping fuse. Old banged up funiture in the cabin. Bathroom pocket door didnt work right. Water was brown.

Good location, good room, problems with the water.

We wanted a short trip to redwood country and this resort is well located, just a couple of miles from the southern tip of the Avenue of the Giants and Humboldt Redwoods State Park. The design of the room was very nice, the bed and the chairs were comfortable; it was helpful to have a small refrigerator and microwave. If the weather had been warmer we would have enjoyed the pool. However the water pressure in the shower was quite inadequate and it was very difficult to get a hot/cold water balance with the type of fixture they have. We noticed the water had a yellow tinge to it, which the receptionist credited to the well water minerals, claiming the water was safe nonetheless. If we stay there again we'll bring our own water.
