Comfortable welcoming convenient hotel in Nimes

Posted Dec 12, 2016
Pros: I loved the quiet double-door bedroom on the top floor, with balcony, tea / coffee-making facilities, and a really comfortable large bed.
Cons: International cable TV?
Location: Very central, with excellent restaurants (try Vesuve - amazing experience) and wine bar one minute away.
An extremely warm welcome to a very comfortable hotel. One deals with the owners directly, who just can't do enough to make your stay pleasant. Far better traditional caring service then many hotels costing four times as much.

Close to town centre and historic sights

Posted Feb 29, 2016
Pros: Great value, location and comfort.
Cons: Nothing much really - it is a small boutique hotel that does it's job really well.
Location: Nimes has a rich roman and medieval heritage and remarkable sites (eg the Arena) as well as a really interesting city centre.
This a great hotel little hotel, convenient to the town centre and within walking distance to all of Nimes' key roman and medieval sites. Rooms are small, but very neat and comfortable. Being a native english speaker, with very poor French speaking skills, I was really happy that the hotel's staff/hosts were bilingual. The hotel's nearby car parking is a bonus too - but make sure to book it as space is definitely limited.

A comfortable hotel run by friendly couple.

Posted Oct 12, 2015
The hotel was convientely located between the train station and the Arena. The staff were both friendly and helpful, with the owners speaking fluent English. On arrival, a small information phamplet was received - this was a great way to get the essential information. The room was quite spacious and included tea/coffee facilities and a small fridge. I was also pleased that a free luggage storage was offered as I was able to go sightseeing before catching a late train out of Nimes.

Good Value.

The hotel is about a 5-10 minute walk from the train station, on a relatively quiet street. The hotel staff spoke perfect English and was quite helpful. Good value for the money.

Great Hotel

Posted Jul 9, 2013
I recently spent a night in this lovely hotel. It was on a nice quiet street, easy to find and a close walk to the center of Nimes, as well as, the train station. The room was comfortable - though didn't spend much time in the room! The couple that ran the hotel were very firendly, helpful and attentive. The breakfast was great and had good coffee for American travellers! Would definately recommend this hotel to others and would stay at this hotel again!

A most enjoyable experience

Posted Jul 3, 2013
Pros: The balcony overlooking the street and the nearby amenities.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Very close to the old city and all the sites.
Everything was very well done. The room was spacious (by European standards), clean, and comfortable with a small balcony with table and chairs that overlooked the street. The front desk was friendly and very helpful.
