Very near the amphitheater and many restaurants. The street by the hotel was very noisy the night we were there, with road cleaning, bins being collected, etc.

Great hotel.
This is the second we've visited, and brought the kids this time. Lovely people running this hotel, and it's in a great location. We'll be back!

Old historic building with a lot of character. Great value, clean, and quiet. Managers lived on site and were very attentive to our needs.

Excellent location, steps away from the arena. The rotating young staff were all very friendly and helped with carrying our luggage, giving information, spraying the room to get rid of mosquitoes or when we needed an extra towel etc. The bathroom would benefit from a bit of a refresher, but it is good for a 3 star hotel. I personally don’t like the plastic mattress cover which makes the sheets slippery but it may be there for a hygiene reason.

I highly recommend!
Nothing compares to the1st Class service I received. The friendly staff were very attentive to my needs and always available. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was elegant and three times the size of most hotel rooms.

The hotel was in the centre of Nimes, with easy access to all the sites, bars and restaurants. It also had two lots of double glazed windows in the bedrooms so was quiet at night despite the location. The property had lots of character too.

Very nice and small hotel at the edge of the Nimes historic center. Close to train station, and abundant restaurant choices close by. Windows isolate well against bustling evening life around hotel. Daily room service could be better - they did not check the bathroom at all.

Great location and service. Just eat elsewhere
Location was great. Staff very friendly and helpful. Price was perfect. I would recomend staying there but consider breakfast down the street. There is a 13€ charge for breakfast at the hotel and there are plenty of options just a few steps away that your 13€ will get you more. Other than that, this is a good hotel to stay at.

We loved this hotel. Our room was quite spacious (even for U.S. folks!) and clean. The hotel's age and location gave it a lot of character. Convenient to major sites and restaurants. The hotel staff (there aren't that many of them, as it seems to be a family-run operation) were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. Breakfast was an up-charge, but that was okay, and it was very good. We would definitely stay here again!

Uncomfortable beds, and a power cut occurred (affected several buildings in the area so not their fault) which lasted for several hours (=no AC in heatwave). However, the staff on duty were extremely helpful and did all they could to get things sorted and provide support to customers (including taking us to charge our phones in the next door shop etc.). Location is perfect for Nimes. Power cut and uncomfortable bed aside, this would be a lovely hotel with a very affordable price.

The location of this hotel was perfect. The staff was kind and helpful. Fun to stay in an old building with such character. Comfortable bed, hot shower and a/c worked well.

Location, location, location
Superb location!!!! We were able to walk everywhere from the train station to all the sites we wanted to see. The area was great for food and a laundry was only 2 blocks away. Would have liked to have had some at the desk 24 hours. Everything about the room was fine . wi-fi was ok we had to sign in a lot. Just a little updating would really push my score higher.

We were very impressed with the room: spacious, well-decorated and well furnished with a large, comfortable bed. The en-suite bathroom was well stocked and nicely decorated. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful.

Good for central location
The dark corridor gives a poor first impression, but it gets better with familiarity. Well positioned, quiet, good internet, air-conditioning, English spoken if you need it. Breakfast could be better - but plenty of alternatives nearby. Overall good experience but price a bit high - you are paying for the location.

Lovely old hotel with spacious rooms, great locat.
Fantastic location right next to the Roman Arena. Lovely old hotel, just be aware there are no lifts as it’s a very old building so not suitable for those who find stairs difficult.

Great location lin the old town about 12 minutes walk from the station. Large air conditioned room only negative is there is no lift but it is a 3 star hotel and the price is very reasonable

Lovely historic small hotel on a short side street well located for tourist sites and restaurants. A bit difficult to find and don’t try to drive. Using a car in Nîmes is the most frustrating and difficult challenge we have encountered.

Overall, a really nice stay at the hotel. Bed was comfortable, room spacious and clean, location was ideal. I was able to leave my luggage for some hours after checkout. No complaints.
