Everything was great, except for the bed. Old and uncomfortable.

Pros: Location and spacious rooms
Cons: Pillows are awful, mattress is hard and uncomfortable
The address in Expedia says Gardnersville but you will end up 40 miles out of your way if you put this town in your GPS. The hotel is actually in Topaz Lake. An okay hotel with large rooms, very hard mattresses and pillows from your worst nightmares. The attached restaurant is also okay.

Rooms with a View

We were looking for a place close to Tahoe and Sonora Pass. Super 8 filled the bill. Clean, comfortable room far from casino, so no noise and great views of Topaz Lake over breakfast. I would go there again.

1 night stay after a fire

Posted Sep 4, 2017 on Hotels
The location was nice, right by the highway with a scenic view of the lake. Staff was friendly and obliging. Ate at the cafe, where the portions are decent and the food is satisfactory. Gas station right next door. There was a forest fire just before we arrived, which put a slight damper on things: everything outside smelled like smoke & tons of bugs. Small casino on site where the drinks were tasty. Very thin walls and tight quarters on the bathroom in the room. Top attractions: View, convenience, and staff along with parking lot. Top cons: tight quarters, many insects. Would stay here if had to again because of convenience, but probably for only 1 night again. They take care of you, but the building itself could use a polishing.
