I liked the view of the lake and easy access to lakeside parks. Casino and restaurant are walkable. Tioga Pass, back entrance to Yosemite, is just 30 miles down the road. It would be nice to have better signage to the registration desk, since it is tucked into a corner of the casino.

I love my stay at Topaz Lodge. I was in the area from Dayton, NV for baptism, not only was my room fresh and clean, comfy beds/pillows but the staff at the check in were amazing!! Friendly and helpful with a sense of humor! I would recommend them!! A

Rooms are a little dated but kept very clean. Overall pretty comfortable stay. Restaurants on site are great.

Where is the outlet?
We stayed here for a family wedding near by. Just checking into the hotel there was no signage that we saw on where to enter. It was in a corner of the casino. The rooms were old. Could have potential. The bathrooms had no outlet in them. No counter space. It was clean enough. There was not an extra roll of toilet paper if needed. They had a sampling of shampoo/ conditioner but one was only half full they were different brands. Our room had a small fridge and microwave but my sisters next door did not. The casino was small we didn’t use much. The diner was good. Great service. The bar was ok. Smokey but it was in a casino.

Loved everything about Topaz Lodge
We were visiting for a family wedding. We were very happy with everything. Everyone that worked there was exceptional! Beautiful view from room! Everything you need is easily accessible from meals, cocktails, munchies and comfortable bed. I loved the pillows. Was not disappointed!

I paid for this through Expedia then gave them my credit card for "incidentals" even though there's no fridge or??? They charged my card another $104 and have been chasing it down for a week now with no returned calls. BEWARE

Get away at Topaz
A nice place close to the lake and state line. Food was good, casino was a little smoky but still hospitable.

We had a wonderful stay at the Topaz Lodge. Rooms were clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Each room has a lovely view of the lake and we were treated to a magnificent sunrise over the lake. We ate at the Steak House which we felt was way overpriced. The view of the lake was nice but it would have been even better from the coffee shop.

The room was extremely dirty. First step into the room brought unpleasant smell. There was a HUGE spider webs on the floor lamp. The size that can only be there after more than a month of not cleaning. There was also hair on the toilet paper. It was so dirty we had to check the bed thoroughly before sleeping. Luckily it seemed clean.

Hotel managers that I know would agree with this advice; If this happens again, please notify the hotel immediately and check you in to a different room. Checking a guest into a dirty room is embarrassing and compromises the integrity of the facility and the staff- we work hard to do better! This is disappointing for us and I apologize your room wasn't ready for check-in. This should never occur: we have a team that cleans the room and a separate person tasked with inspecting the room. On a busy summer, mistakes can happen and we are constantly working to improve our systems and methods- we will discuss this room and your feedback to do better.Thank you again and I hope your afternoon is going well,Chris- Hotel Manager

Good stop on 395.
Check in was quick and efficient. The clerk was pleasant. The room was ready and clean and had a nice view of the lake and distant mountains.

Beautiful area. Good stop for a quick overnight. Steakhouse food overprice for an average meal. Clean and simple room. Pleasant front grass area. Doors stuck probably due to harsh winters.

The room seemed clean but it was so dimly lit it was hard to be sure. I always feel that dim rooms are lit that way to hide something. I immediately knew we would not stay a 2nd night
