Very Good!

This is a very good hotel. The staff is very helpful and professional..THe breakfast is very good. The location to central terminal and metro , bus stations are in close walking proximity.I would stay again here.

Cons: Cleaning of our room, one day it is clean, other day fairly cleaned.
Very helpful staff, especially Christopher...also close to Metro & Gare du Nord.

Very disappointing stay

On arrival to the hotel I informed the front desk that i was there to check in and was promptly told to wait a moment. I was then ignored with no updates for about 40 minutes afterwhich i was told there was a room available on the 6th floor. After being ignored I was so relieved i gladly accepted the available room. I got into the elevator and realized there was no button to the 6th floor. Only to the 5th floor, the elevator stopped at the 5th floor and i saw a sign that said to take the stairs to get to the 6th floor. After climbing the tiny spiral staircase and almost falling i got to a tiny attic room which was very hot. Now if i worked i a hotel and was offering a paying a guest a room on the 6th floor i would inform the guest that the elevator doesn't go to the 6th floor and they would have to take the stairs. Allowing the guest to decide if that is ok or not. This was not done for me. I called the front desk and asked if i could have another room and was told yes to return to the lobby. Upon returning to the lobby the receptionist Christopher and an older gentleman then proceeded to ignore me once again with no updates for anoter hour before finally informing me of anoter available room. Which i was ok with. The first night in the room was ok except i woke up with 2 bug bites to my upper arm and leg both areas of my body got painfully swollen and irritated. The night staff were very helpful unlike their day counterparts.

Stayed August 2017

Quirky hotel, with limited facilities but we liked it and would consider it value for money. The location is excellent and our room was pleasant and very clean. We loved the hustle and bustle of the busy street outside and are happy to report that it goes quiet later at night, which was a godsend as it was a hot night and we were able to have the windows wide open (first floor too!).

Close to Gare du Nord train station

Pros: Close to the train station Gare du Nord (5 minute walk)
Cons: Narrow halls/elevators/stairs makes egress a concern. Updated furniture and fixtures would be nice.
Location: We walked from the hotel to the Eiffel tower and the Louvre in about 45 minutes. There are lots of shops and cafe's very close to the hotel.
Stayed for one night. Hotel was clean and staff was both friendly and helpful. Our room was on the 6th floor where roof lines cut into ceilings and walls in the room. Room had two three separate beds, in three somewhat distinct rooms which made it comfortable for my family of 4. Elevators are very old and fit 2 people at most and only go to the 5th floor. Access to the 6th floor was by a fairly tight spiral staircase. Halls, elevators and stairs are very small, but room felt roomy once inside. Hotel also allowed us to store our luggage securely for the day, until we came back and headed to the train station.
