Kyriad Paris 10 Gare du Nord

37 Rue De Saint Quentin, Paris 75010 - Map
"Perfect for tourists"
This hotel is 50 yards from Gare du Nord, but so quiet you wouldn't know. 20 steps from the exit are two cafes that can feed you 3 times a day with fantastic, good value food (more steps for more cafes). For those visiting Paris for the first time, a more convenient hotel for public transport to cover most of the attractions will be hard to find (in my opinion). We didn't have to make any more than one change of line to get anywhere in our plans (and that was easy too). Pleasant staff (with good English thankfully, my French is not as good as it should be) are attending 24 hours a day and will always try to help with directions or local knowledge. Impeccably clean rooms and as already mentioned, REALLY good sound proofing windows. This is a busy area, to keep the noise out is a real acheivement. We would be disappointed if we could not book this hotel for future visits.

Pocket Guide: Paris Gare du Nord - Gare de L'Est Louvre Pet-friendly Hotels

This is an area of transit, with two mainline stations and a dozen Métro links. Gare du Nord is the terminus for Eurostar and trains to Charles de Gaulle Airport. The main sights are glass and fan museums and the 17th-century archways of St-Denis and St-Martin. Ethnic shops, markets and restaurants on Boulevard du Strasbourg and Passage Brady ('Little India') and lively cafés along Canal St-Martin make atmospheric diversions.
