Close to the tram station, but not much options to eat nearby.

Centrally located, close to public transportation

CONS: However, the restrooms are insanely small and the elevator would make a claustrophobic person go insane lol. Starting with the restroom, I'm a tall male and had to get crafty when using the it. The walls are so close to the toilet that it makes it so uncomfortable and nearly impossible to use the lavatory. Imagine a "makeshift" restroom in your hallway closet back at home. For a necessity we westerners take for granted, this was the biggest inconvenience since you're sharing a dorm. The elevator is actually a "lift" and only has enough room for one person (2 if you want to get up close and personal with a fellow traveler). Would not recommend if your build is larger than a "medium" in U.S. Or else you'll simply be uncomfortable during your stay. PROS: The staff were great and the room was nice and cozy! The room itself had a nice them and view of the eiffel tower! The main public transportation services were located in walking distance which gave me easy access to all popular attractions in Paris. Breakfast was a traditional French breakfast for I believe 8 euros which was a great bang for my buck and the whole staff were very accommodating. When I woke up sweating in the night, the front desk staff was able to provide me with a portable fan that was a reliever! Opening a window was my first "go-to" but a lovely roommate closed it and I didn't want to get into any unnecessary scuffle during my stay. Overall, okay stay for the price!

The rooms are quite small and the walls are thin so you can hear everything. Good safe location and friendly staff.

great hostel in good location

I enjoyed my stay here at this hostel. Staff were friendly, room was tidy and the hostel itself was situated near several bus stops and the tube. There's also a supermarket nearby. I would surely stay here again.

Ideal hotel in a good location

This hotel is perfect for groups wanting a cheap but pleaseant stay in the heart of Paris. The communal areas of the hotel are lovely; tastefully decorated (unusual for a hostel), clean and complete with a well equipped communal kitchen. The rooms are less pleasing, extremely basic and a bit dark, but we were able to make ours homely quite easily and it is fine as a place to sleep. Don't expect luxury at this hotel, but do expect friendly staff, good atmosphere and only a short metro trip to the centre of Paris.

Good Location! Nice restaurants close by!

Pros: Location Price
Cons: No central air!
Location: Ten minute walk to Metro. Park close by. Crepe restaurant close by that is amazing!!!!!!!!!
Staff very helpful all the time with everything! Breakfast was great and the women that prepared it was super nice! Our stay was very good ! Thank you for a memorable experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quirky and friendly with an under sized throne.

All of the staff were extra friendly and spoke a variety of languages which added to the comfort of our stay. The kitchen facilities were of a decent standard. Fridges with a sticker system making food identification simple, along with equipment to cook and prepare your own meals to a relatively basic standard. Bedrooms were of a high quality with a very comfy bed and laminate pattered carpet which we found gave a lot of character. However, the bathroom situation was very small including a toilet that did not allow a correct seating position (legs wouldn't fit). A minor inconvenience on the surface but at the time gave a negative view on the room as a whole compared to the picture advertisements that we were expecting. Recommend a stay if you don't mind travelling 30-45 minutes into the centre with 2 tram connections and not much to offer in the nearby surrounding areas.

Arty Paris was okay--wouldn't stay here again.

Cons: Air conditioning during the summer would be amazing.
Location: Catacombs is the closest big attraction that I was interested in seeing.
The guy who worked reception at night was very nice. He was able to talk to the taxi driver on the phone and help with directions; furthermore, he was able to provide a fan at night because the hotel does not have air conditioning. The day staff was nice; however, the younger girl was incredible slow. It was very hot during my week in Paris. When I Arrived to the hotel I asked for water and had money on the counter. I don't know if its a culture difference or what, but any person would have seen that I needed water immediately. Instead, the girl cashed me out and printed a receipt (extremely slowly). The hotel was clean. Breakfast was okay. The hostel is a good 1/4 mile from the subway.

7 Nights, hostel, good location, friendly staff.

Pros: Friendly Staff, Great location, Clean, the Coffee Machine at breakfast, View from my window of Eiffel tower, Breakfast area open relaxing with TV.
Cons: Change the toaster to a pop up toaster (save electric), add some yogurt, fruit & pain au chocolat to the breakfast, get better Orange Juice,
Location: Merto - Gare du Nord find Magenta - Line E >St Lazare change then St Lazard (Light Blue Line13)> Plaisance Station,1 T-Ticket.
Check in went well, I got my bottom bunk which I prefer, staff all spoke English & were friendly & helpful. My room was basic but comfortable, it had 4 bunks a 1 desk, 1 chair, 1 en suit shower toilet, wash basin, hairdryer. I was on the 5th floor & could see the Eiffel tower in the distance from the window, hostel had a small lift. The Hostel is about 8 min walk from Plaisance Metro station. Just past Plaisance Metro is a massive Simply Supermarket. I didn't feel any unease in the vicinity of the hostel & walked around happily after midnight. I also walked back from Eiffel tower a couple of times which took me about 35 mins but I'm pretty fit. Best value metro tickets are 10xT-Tickets ‎€14.90=‎€1.49 each, otherwise it's ‎€1.90 individually. Breakfast was basic & consists of Croissants, Bread, jams, honey, Orange Drink, Coffee machine.It would have been ‎€6 but mine was included in my deal which was good for me,one staff member (girl,5ft) at breakfast was lovely & extremely polite & helpful. Breakfast area was pleasant with TV. Kitchen has a large fridge that if there for all to use & pay Laundry facilities. Rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard, well done the cleaner. I had a power point by my bed, top bunk didn't but other points were around the room. There are also 4 small safes for valuables but you need to take your own padlock. My luggage I stored under my bunk on the floor. 7 Nights stay, will definitely go back.
