The best area is the new adults only whirlpool and panoramic sauna which has been built in thr last 2 years. This is more in line with the facilities at lefay dolomiti. The other main sauna and hammam areas probably need a refurbishment. They seem either too hot so cant stay in them long or not hot enough and there are no benches just individual seats in a circular way which means you are facing other people and cant lay down. Also its really relaxing adding different colours and music into the saunas which dolomiti has done. Becuaae it was out of season couldnt use the infinity pool or outdoor jacuzzi unfortunately. There is no other lap pool option indoors here whereas dolomiti has a beautiful lap pool. The in and out pool was very nice and relaxing and has jacuzzis in it. The breakfast was excellent and varied. The road coming in and out of lefay to the main road is awful and winding and takes about 10 mins just to come down the mountain but the views are spectacular of the lake on a clear day. It is probably better suited to spring and summer months than a winter vacation. The gym was 24 hour and very well equipped with modern equipment. It was very easy to hire a car and park it in the garage. Overall i would say dolomiti lefay was a cut above lefay garda due to the facilities , larger spa areas, indoor lap pool and easy accessibility to the town just couple of mins drive away with some excellent dining options.

However, I am sorry that some aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations, especially given the great efforts we make to provide a service that pays attention to every detail.As far as your comment about the Resort's location is concerned, we want to point out that the property is located on a hill above the village of Gargnano just 6 km far from the main Lake Road, which during the summer season is crowded and noisy. Many Guests believe that our location has a great advantage over most of the other lake properties because it has an amazing view over the lake as well as offering a sense of peace and exclusivity. We do provide a free shuttle service for our Guests to and from Gargnano.Moreover, I regret reading that Lefay SPA, the exclusive temple to wellness of 4,300 sqm with pools, saunas, fitness centre, wellness paths and relaxation areas did not fully meet your needs. We thank you for providing us with your feedback, since it is only through these valuable comments that we can better understand and satisfy our Guests' desires and expectations.I hope you may alter your opinion and give us the pleasure to welcome you again in our Resort. The most superb Spa & hotel we've ever stayed at. Beautiful surroundings, stunning views, relaxing and peaceful. The staff are wonderful, the Gramen restaurant (with a plant based tasting menu no less!) is superb, the breakfasts the best we've ever had etc. Running out of superlatives for this extraordinary place. One of my WORST stay
We booked Three rooms for a family vacation with my 4 months old baby and her grandparents. Upon booking we messaged the hotel for rooms next to each other, we told the hotel it is very important that we stay close each other. The manager Eveline said it was confirmed. However when we arrived it was not the case. The grandparents had to run around in hotel to see their grandson. I asked to talk to the manager Eveline, she DID NOT show up the whole time... Theres only one restaurant in the hotel, so breakfast, lunch and dinner all at the same place. The staffs were extremely rude. The have no respect of customers and were not well trained at all. They are more like a TWO STAR HOTEL staffs than five star. In the end my baby was sick so i had to leave my massage treatment 20 minutes in, for a 90 minutes treatment. Not only they charged me full amount they wanted to charge my husband even though he canceled his half hour before it was started. This hotel has the worst customer service i have ever had in my life, we had such a horrible time... If you want to book this place be ready to get trapped in a secluded area with terrible service and ridiculous staff. This will be our last time staying there and we will warn all of our friends to stay away!

However, I am really desolated to read that your stay in our Resort did not satisfy your expectations, especially considering the great efforts we undertake to provide our Guests with a perfect service in every detail. First of all I would like to inform you that we pay great attention to the selection and professional development of our Team through training activities, target systems for Staff motivation and multiple benefits. This is an approach that stimulates a relationship of mutual trust and a sense of belonging, guarantee of a better service for our Guests. Let me also add that in this moment of uncertainty, our Staff is particularly trained in terms of Covid-19 safety measures that must be well observed by all Guests and Staff members. Secondly, I am sorry to read that the Suites’ allocation did not meet your needs despite the replacement of your third room just the day after your arrival: our Staff is always happy to satisfy our Guests’ wishes and we are truly sorry that our efforts did not fulfil your hopes anyway. Moreover, I take the chance to inform you that the Property features two main restaurants: Trattoria La Vigna, opened every day for lunch and during the weekend for dinner, and La Grande Limonaia Restaurant, opened every day only for dinner and breakfast. In our Lounge Bar, Guests may also enjoy a selection of hot dishes and salads, as well as quick snacks, sandwiches and a series of fruit and vegetable juices. Regarding your comment about the treatments’ cancellation, I am desolated that you were not satisfied with the exceptional deletion of your husband’s treatment, which was notified us just one hour before. We could not instead do the same with your massage, as it had already begun since more than half an hour. Anyway, as soon as we learned that your child was not feeling well, we did our best to assist you in this unpleasant situation. Lastly, I assure you that I am always available to personally meet our Guests to evaluate how we can improve the quality of their stay if some aspects of the experience are not meeting their expectations. For the future, if you wish to reserve an individual meeting, you are more than welcomed to contact our Front Office, who will be pleased to assist you with everything you need. This resort exceeded my expectations with service and amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful with all our questions. Breakfast was amazing! You can make your own fresh juice and get a homemade omelette from the chef. The spa was over the top with different steam rooms and saunas. To top it all off amazing views of the lake each way you turn!

The service of the hotel is questionable due to the fact that staff speaks to the guests in very unpleasant manner ... definitely not what you would expect in a 5 start hotel in France or other parts of italy. Spa is impressive but very dated. Expect them ask you to take your bikini off in saunas just like in Germany. So if that’s not your thing, probably not the best place to stay at Great views and hiking around / food is great too! Staff at the restaurant was the nicest of all.

Moreover, when exposed to high temperatures, lots of synthetic fibres liberate chimicals that can be absorbed by the skin, while the heated fabric can cause minor abrasions. We would like to take this chance to inform you that 100% Made in Italy bathing suits are available at our Lefay Shop. They are specifically designed for spa areas as they are created with a particular fabric weave that allows air circulation between fibres, guaranteeing breathability and hygiene, while offering a concrete answer to the esthetic and functional needs of the wellness world. It was the best spa I have ever been in. The pools, grounds and service were excellent. It is a hidden gem and I think I will keep it a secret so it remains that way

Solid choice needs minor tweaks
I'm a returning guest and this time around it seems to have lost some of its lustre - eg with exception of 1, the others steam rooms didn't seem to work at all/properly and some staff (eg the lady with short blonde hair greeting guests at breakfast) wasn't always friendly or accomodating and when compared to her colleagues wasn't really delivering to same service standards. Otherwise beautiful property and surrounds and great experience!

Beautiful and pricey
George ours but very pricey, some of the spa treatments were amazing, some weren’t. Food was good but very expensive. High up in the mountains so if you want to go down to the lake you need a car.
