Great hotel
Nice hotel close to the main station. You barely hear any trains when sleeping,which is good. Tasty breakfast with a wide variety of things to choose from. Room 127 was nice and clean. High quality sauna for men. The women's sauna could use an upgrade though. Plenty of fitness equipment to use.

Perfect family Hotel superb breakfast
Lovely to come back and see the old Hotel in a new mode. Thé restaurant was brilliant and the service overall fantastic. Thé Hotel is Under restriktion and I got a new very Nice and modern Room... i cant be Amy more P leased...

OK typical Scandinavian hotel
Didn't look at my room request. After 10 mins checking in, found me an OK room. Room was fine, although could hear next door and people in corridor. Breakfast didn't start to 0730 at weekend, this is way too late. I checked out at 0715 and about a dozen people were eating breakfast before official opening, please start at 0700 at latest.

Great hotel and location especially if using the train easy walking distance. Stayed here a number of times for work, Staff are helpful and friendly. As I’ve stopped here a few times would ask for a room not near the lifts unless your a heavy sleeper.

Very Disappointed in their Restaurant.
The restaurant meal was the worst I had in all my three week stay in Sweden. It was a very poorly done steak dinner that was tasteless. Would highly recommend that visitors not eat in.

This is probably the cleanest hotel room I have ever stayed in. Something that is very important to me. Kudos to their housekeeping staff.

Worth every penny.
Scandic CH met all my needs for a two night stay, a clean comfortable room, easily accessible location from the train station, good food, competent kind staff. The food was beyond good, absolutely amazing. I will have to go back in order to try out the wild boar.

We stayed in Gavle for 2 days at the Scandic. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast was very good. The hotel staff were friendly which made the stay very enjoyable

Det var kallt på rummet med extra element som knappt värmde nåt. Frukosten var inte så bra med torr äggröra och gråa korvar. Juicen smakade konstigt. Inga pannkakor eller våfflor på vardagar, trist.
