Worn down Motel

Pros: The location is not too bad. It is on the main parway but at the very southern end so there is still some walking to see most of the attractions .
Cons: Almost everything is in need of replacement, repair or refubishment.

Overall the motel is pretty run down and needs a lot of work. Upon our arrival, th staff was outside on a smoke break. After check in, we were referred to a lady selling tickets to attractios to get our parking pass. The steps from floor to floor had been cemented over to create a handicap ramp but instead creatd a ramp which is too steep to be safe for anyone. The AC unit in our room would no work. Overall, the motel is in a state of disrepair and not what you would normally expect from a Days Inn.

Too much for old unclean facility

The staff complained that Expedia arranged for the request for adjoining rooms... Thank you Expedia! Unhappy staff. Rather grumpy and not welcoming. We got back from Dollywood and there was no parking available after ten o'clock so we finally found a place on the street. Beds we're pretty lumpy. Good thing we're not large people because the bath is so little. If we were going to stay another night I would have attempted to find another place. I won't return. Convenient location is about all I can say positively. Rate it about 1.5 but the rating above won't let me put in my #.

The good thing is I the heart of the town but the pictures post in the Web nothing like it

Terrible!!! Save your money.

This was horrible. We just go back from a 4 night stay there. Mold all in the bathroom, no fresh towels. We went to front desk to ask because telephone was broke and they said they was out we would have to wait until next day or she would bring us some. Never received any. The air condition barely blew cold air. It was a mess. And the place looks and smells terrible. I wish I had taken my money else where

Good for passing though

Very comfortable beds, very nice staff. Good for an overnight stay on our way through Tennessee, needs a renovation.

Great location it needs upgrade

Disappointed is all I can say. Toilet tank leaked the whole time, I had to place towels on the floor, bathroom needs attention badly, carpet needs cleaning, curtains need too be rehung because the valance was falling down. Such a great location to allow the hotel to fall in disrepair. Tourism is great there so I know this should not have happened. Sooooo disappointed!

Not worth the price

Not a terrible place to stay, but have stayed in much nicer for less. Our room was in need of a deep cleaning and some painting.

Needs new mattresses

Pros: the pool was nice,,felt more like a hot tub as the water was way too warm..but felt good..
Cons: new mattresses,,,,better options for breakfast
Location: was told it was near downtown when I booked,,,but was at the end of parkway,,so we had to drive and pay parking to get to the main part of town
The beds were terrible...felt like a spring was sticking up in the one I slept in....very few toiletries in bathroom...but ,,no big deal,,,i asked for a first floor room when I booked,,but was put on 2nd floor,,,wanted to upgrade after I saw the room..but couldn't because I had booked through expedia,,,had to take the room or lose 2 nights charge...the breakfast was terrible...so next day we ate breakfast at a restarant,,,no outlet by the night stand to plug cpap to ,,but,,the clerk did find an extentsion cord for me from another tourist...but we had to stretch it across the room and had to be careful not to trip on it....so I do not recommend this hotel....

Close to Ober Gatlinburg

It was a nice stay. The jacuzzi in the room was exactly what we were looking for, and the staff was courteous and friendly. Room was clean and bug-free, and the mini fridge came in handy.
