Walking Distances to all Attractions in Gatlinburg

Posted Jul 13, 2017
I would stay here again. The beds were comfy and had a lovely view. The room over all was clean except under the sink there was a ton of dust. The only reason I point that out is that I'm allergic to dust mites, so clean is a must. The breakfast was decent, but it wasn't may favorite. The pool area was neat. I loved the scenery. It was easy to get to everything in walking distance. I didn't care for the parking though. We ended up crashing into the wall since it is a tight fit. LOL This hotel was way better than the one that we stayed in last year which was the Days Inn on Parkway. That one is terrible. I'm shocked that it isn't closed down, because of the condition it is in.

Pros: The location was great.
Cons: More elevators, updated rooms, and parking needs to be looked at.
Location: Tram to Ober Gatlinburg, wineries, distilleries, shops, and more.
The hotel was in a great location, but some improvements are definitely needed to update the rooms and hotel. Two elevators are available from the parking garage, to the lobby, and to the rooms, which causes a 15 minute wait for the elevator. There are stairs, but they are not all connected to where you need to be and way down the hallway. The parking garage also wasn't ideal, as it was hard to find parking when I returned late one night. The views of the river were great from the breakfast area, but the mountain view I was supposed to have was lacking.

Staff was awful she was to busy talking to others. Even forgot to tell me what my room number was or any information about the hotel! Felt like I was bothering them. Good thing I have been there many times so I know how everything works.

I sincerely apologize for your negative experience. We have had a full house during your stay, which is certainly no excuse for rude behavior on our part. I will determine who checked you in and remind them that no matter how busy we are, the guest in front of us is our first priority. Again, I sincerely apologize for our lack of customer service and I appreciate your bringing it to my attention. Sincerely,

Easy walk to everything, wonderful location.

We have stayed here 3 times over the last 2 years, it's not a 5 star hotel but it's clean, comfortable, affordable, and right in the middle of Gatlinburg.

Good value

Pros: Staff was friendly, they recommended a perfect restaurant, and were pleasant when we forgot a stuffed animal in the room after checkout
Cons: Definitely older decor, but clean.
We were honestly looking for something cheap, with a pool, free breakfast, and close to hiking. This fit all of our needs. Two downsides: My gluten-free/dairy-free daughter couldn't find anything to eat at breakfast (no fear, we brought some gf oatmeal packets on our road trip) and there was a terrible humming/rattle coming from the fridge in the room during the evening. AC was a little loud too, but adjustable. But the fridge woke me several times. Our daughters loved the pool!

Rooms are dated with a musty smell. Breakfast was ok but not much left when we arrived. Pool area was nice. Location is awesome.

Couples Getaway

Queen Room w/ fireplace: not worth anything over a $120. Out dated hotel, TV did not work, water pressure in shower would stream on then off then on again, fireplace needed to be turned on by staff only, breakfast was poor. Good points of the hotel: free parking, location was very walkable to everything, balcony and friendly staff.
