Nice friendly staff .. short walk to town

Posted Jun 2, 2017
Our experience was great. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. When we got to our room we noticed that even though we ordered a queen bed it seemed much smaller. We didn't complain about it. The pool closed at 9pm which we thought was unfair considering we are responsible adults on a vacation and we are at a resort not a hotel ...but other than that everything was splendid. We will definitly plan another visit soon

Good value

Posted Jun 1, 2017
Pros: Lots of space, easy to bring luggage to room, modern, well-maintained, comfortable.
Cons: Streamline the check-in process. Just give me the password and skip the commercials.
Location: It's Gatlinburg. If you can't find something to do here, then you should probably stay home.
We were looking for a place within walking distance of downtown, where we could do our own cooking. This one bedroom condo was perfect, at a great value. It was modern, clean, and all appliances worked well. Nice view of the creek out back on the deck. Multiple elevators and carts for luggage. Adequate off street covered parking. The only down side to the entire experience was the check-in. It took way too long. After check-in, they send you to a separate room to pick up a so-called hospitality package (which we found to be worthless) under the guise of getting the password for the WIFI service. But it turns out the hospitality people want to gab and sell you some property, so they talk on and on, and people are lining up, and we could not get out of there. In the meantime, the cars are outside stacking up in the drive lane and blocking the entrance to where cars are backing up traffic in the road and creating a hazard. And everyone was getting irritable about the whole experience. It took 25 minutes from the time we pulled up until we could get back in our car and drive away. That's nuts. But, if you can survive the check-in experience, the rooms are quite nice.

This is a resort.

Be prepared for the sales pitch, seminar = free tickets. The apartment was nice, we had a balcony with the mountain view. Hit the Walmart for groceries on your way. This is a long walk from the tourist strip, which is extremely busy, expect to pay for parking. Everything closes at 9pm. I suggest you bring some DVDs or games in case the cable/internet is out. There are two scenic routes into the mountains, very nice. The national park route will take up about 5 hours in your car, bring snacks and drinks.

Was told bed was a queen. It was much smaller than a queen and very uncomfortable. I needed towels, I called the front desk as was told that i needed to just wait until the next morning and come get them myself.

Please accept my apology regarding the issues you had during your stay. The bed that you slept in was a Queen bed.

The bed sheets and covers could have been less itchy and more fluffy. All the furniture was stiff. Everything looked great but not comfortable to chill on.
