Moldy room

Room had mold and roaches. Very outdated and needing a lot of repairs. Smoke from the fire pit filled my room at night, I was pretty much miserable the entire time with allergies. Staff don't like to quit playing games on their computers long enough to tell you what you need to know, but if you walk to the desk and ask directly they will help. The male staff are more helpful than the female front desk clerk who liked to go out and smoke. The pool area also had mold and the hot tub had actual grit in the bottom. It may be cheap, but you get what you pay for. I would not stay again.

Hole in the floor

If I would have been injured, there would have been a lawsuit. Floor rotted next to jacuzzi. Foot plunged through and shoe came off in the floor when retrieving my foot.

Convenient and accommodating

I did not have a single issue with this hotel. The Cafe on the premises had a wonder breakfast, the pool was just the right temperature and the location is convenient to Gatlinburg shopping, eats and trails! I'll be staying here again!

Downtown Gatlinburg, Tn

Walked in room no heat on with reservation and cabinet doors not attached laying on counter. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable and should be replaced. All of room very outdated really needs maintenance. Stay in Gatlinburg allot but think this will be last visit at this motel. Told desk clerk about issue and she said they must have forgotten to fix it. No excuse if not up to par shouldn't have been offered.

Awesome

The Lodge was the icing on the cake to our first Christmas in Gatlinburg. The rooms are huge and clean. The front desk and housekeeping were so friendly 😁. And last but not least, the indoor pool and hot tub were off the chain!!!😍. Thank y'all for making our vacation magical.

Older Dated Motel But Very Clean

Pros: Walking distance to strip
We stayed here for New Years. It was close to food and shops.Hotel is very dated but clean

Nice hotel with pleasant staff

The staff was very helpful. The indoor pool area was as good as advertised. The children really loved the Grotto. Room was clean. However bathroom needs to be updated. Water flow was inconsistent and you can see cracks in the ceiling. Overall It’s a quality place to stay considering the value of cost,accommodations, proximity to downtown Gaitlynburg.

Good location

The front desk staff were very kind and friendly. Its an older hotel but is well maintained and clean for the age. It has a few issues but for the price paid and being able to be close to downtown on a short notice its not worth complaining about. We would stay again without hesitation.

Nice, cozy, hotel

Pros: Chermside view, not run and pool was very nice
Location: Good
We have stayed at Sydney James many times during Christmas and it has always been a pleasant stay. The rooms are very quiet. Met our needs for our stay. Staff was excellent and helped with anything we needed.

Nice setting

I was surprised at the hotel. When we pulled up we noticed little fireplaces all over the outside. Someone tended the fire all night long. It was nice and relaxing
