Nice Area

Posted Jan 15, 2018
Everything was great. The room was a little stale when we first got there because no air was circulating. The jacuzzi didn’t work so lucky we didn’t need to use it. The location was wonderful and the staff was very accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

Clean and comfortable

Posted Jan 14, 2018
Pros: Personal jacuzzi and the location
Our room was the king bed with the jacuzzi. It was within walking distance of the Main Street in Gatlinburg. The room was clean. We loved the jacuzzi. Breakfast in the morning had everything that we needed.

Great location

Posted Jan 8, 2018
This hotel was a quick and easy walk to everything on the main road. We parked our vehicle and never moved it. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. Rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast was great. Coffee was ready 24 hours. It was a low cost way to experience the city with our family. We were pleased with our selection.

Building needs some TLC, but the room was nice.

Posted Jan 3, 2018
Pros: Proximity to Gatlinburg and room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: Replaced the carpeting in the hallways, completely enclose the stairway and repaint the hot tub or give it a good scrubbing.
Location: Within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg and not too far to Pigeon Forge.
Check in clerk was pleasant, breakfast was good, the room was clean and comfortable. It was a short walk to the main road in Gatlinburg. Only three negatives: 1) The carpeting in the hallway was a worn and stained; 2) The stairway was not enclosed, thus it was very cold when going from the pool area to the room; 3) The hot tub has a green tint on the seats, not sure what that was.

Good location

Good location, affordable hotel. The night staff was very helpful, the day staff was awful. The pool and hot tub were good. The room was ok. The bathroom needed updating. Especially the shower. The breakfast was not good.

Good Hotel, Good Price

Posted Oct 12, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: The small lazy river near the pool was an awesome way to unwind after a long day of walking around Gatlinburg.
Location: Only a 5-10 minute walk from Gatlinburg.
It was a good hotel for a reasonable price. The room was clean and well kept up during our stay.

Good hotel close to all the shops

Posted Oct 4, 2017
Pros: Was within walking distance of downtown
Cons: Changing the selection of breakfast items. After 4 days it got boring. Bacon and scrambled eggs as a change would be nice.
Location: It's only about half a mile from the start of town. We walked everywhere, but you can catch a trolley right down the hill. Many attractions and shops!
We were a little leary since a few of the ratings weren't great, but we figured for the great price and the location we'd give it a try. Let me say we were pleasantly surprised. Yes, it is dated, but you aren't paying the price for one of the newer hotels either. It was clean, although when you first walk in that cleaning smell is STRONG. The room, we had a king suite, was very clean. The fireplace would have been great if it was cooler out.The mattress was good and there were extra pillows and blankets in the drawer so no need to ask. The air conditioner wasn't the greatest, not sure how it would be in the summer heat and there was also a balcony. Looked out onto the road but it was still nice. And the hotel although it was totally booked was amazingly quiet and we had the room right next to the elevator and ice machine. The only suggestion I have is to please change up the sausage with something else every few days. It gets a little boring for a protein. Breakfast was good...normal waffles, cereal, bagels that kind of thing. Scrambled instead of hard boiled would be a great addition. Pool looked nice and lazy river kind of small, but we never got a chance to use them as we were always busy. Gatlinburg is absolutely beautiful!! Oh and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice older hotel

Posted Sep 30, 2017 on Orbitz
Older hotel but nice for the price. We initially were in room on street side which was a bit noisy but then switched to room on other side which was quiet. Breakfast was decent.
