Good price average hotel

An average experience...pro's good location parking room size and balcony on the river...cons room had the "room smell" of a dated room, not the best continental breakfast and pool already was closed on Labor Day...I would stay there again as it was the best choice late in the game with free cancelation...almost needed it with weather

Decent hotel, at end of Gatlinburg strip

Pros: Location, price
Cons: If only the bathroom had been cleaned...
Location: At the far end of the Gatlinburg "strip" so close to do all the walking. Also, closer to the Smoky Mountains park entrance and G-burg bypass road.
Check in was easy and fairly quick. Room had a nice view and balcony. It was very quiet. The bathroom, at first glance, appeared clean, until daughter went to take a shower shortly after we arrived. There was no bath mat. There was a used bar of soap still in shower, and shower curtain (which also reeked) was not draped over the bar (which they did do after cleaning the day after we came back from a day out). Two ice machines but only one was working, so that meant barely any ice, as we stayed during the Eclipse event, so there were alot of people there. We did not have a "Do Not Disturb" sign for our door, so of course, housekeeping came knocking when we were not ready. Breakfast was decent.....bagels, boiled eggs, yogurt, make-your-own waffles, muffins, oranges/bananas (which they ran out of on first day), cereal, oatmeal, juices, coffee. Didn't use the pool but it looked clean. We were on 7th floor (total of 7 floors), and elevator was nice. Check out was quick and easy.

Fine for a Night or Two.

Pros: Location, price.
Location: Only about a block off the Parkway on the busy end of Gburg.
We were just spending the night in Gburg as we only live about an hour and a half away, and was just going for a quick get-a-way. The Hotel is fine for a couple of nights if you are not wanting to spend a lot of money. It's like most of the older Gburg hotels, but is fine for a night or two. Our room was big and spacious, the front desk girl was very nice. The hotel is only about a block off the Parkway, I wouldn't mind staying here again for another short trip.

Eclipse trip stay

Pros: location, large room
Cons: the water jets on the hot tub did not work
Location: right near the entrance to GSMP, beautiful location on the mountain stream
great location near the park. hotel staff could have been more knowledgeable about eclipse watching events.

Nice hotel close to the strip

My husband and I had really nice time staying with Travelodge. The pool was nice. The staff was friendly. The room was nice. We will definitely stay with Travelodge again

A great value and every room is right on the river

Pros: Very clean, low price and perfect location. Some undercover parking for motorcycles, etc.
Cons: For the price, nothing needs to be improved.
Location: Many restaurants and shopping.
Very clean and an excellent price with every room overlooking the river. Close to grocery store and dining including Bennetts BBQ. The staff is very friendly and they allow small dogs. The included breakfast has hardboiled eggs, yogurt, fresh waffles, fruit, coffee, bagels, cereal, milk, etc. Highly recommend base on value, cleanliness, safety and excellent staff.

It is a little run down. Needs refreshing, torn wall paper in bathroom. Door to balcony would not latch. Had to depend on deadbolt

nice over the river

Disappointed guests

The bathroom smells pee and there were flies inside our room and cigarette butts left on the veranda. We're not staying in this hotel again. Sad :-(
