Solid value

Pros: Cleanliness and value
Cons: Put 4 pillows on bed instead of 2 and improve sofa bed quality
We were on the road and made reservation through Expedia. As a family of 5 we were astounded by the relatively low cost of a room with beds for us all (which included a sofa bed for our 12-year-old). It was a bit of a drive off the highway with the upside of that being no traffic noise. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable so she just slept on sofa instead. We were all glad we brought in our own pillows and a white noise machine. We were happy to roll with those minor annoyances, however, due to the fact that the room was clean and again, the incredible value. Thank you!

Pleasant Hotel in Sevierville

Pros: Liked the well-maintained and decorated public areas, the exterior appearance, the breakfast buffet, and the location near Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.
Cons: Room furnishings could be improved (and are scheduled to be updated this year).
Location: Sevierville is just north of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Smoky Mountains. Plenty to see and do for anyone staying in the area.
Stopped for 1 night on our way home from Florida. Chose this hotel based on its excellent Expedia rating and low mid-week pricing. We were very pleased with the Clarion Inn. Public areas were well-kept and nicely decorated. (A unique feature... the lobby had a collection of "Gone With The Wind" memorabilia displayed.) There was a good selection of food items on the included breakfast buffet. We did not use the pools (indoor and outdoor), but they appeared to be well-maintained. Our room had a balcony overlooking the Willow River. It had plenty of furniture (2 queen beds, sleep sofa, coffee table, 2 chairs, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, accessible bathroom with walk-in shower), but was somewhat dated. (A sign in the elevator said that room updates were coming in 2017.)

Not close to Dollywood or attractions

Staff was friendly on check in and check out. Only basic tv, no movies etc. bathroom small.

I will pass your information onto our owners regarding our TV requirements. I am sorry that we were not as close to Dollywood or the attractions. Being only 7 miles from Dollywood and the attractions gives our guests the short drive into town but also allows for our guests to come back to peace and quiet and also a very quick exit out of town on busy weekend mornings. quiet nights

Pros: cleanliness and breakfast was good.
Cons: need to rearrange the breakfast area, really crowded. also would be nice if it lasted until 11 am on weekends. front desk staff was not real friendly
Location: near pigeon forge, lots to see and do.
very pleasant clean and comfortable. would stay here again

The hotel was absolutely wonderful. Very friendly staff, very clean room. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that the wi-fi was kind of weak.

Unfriendly staff. Room was dirty. Found a rotten apple under the bed 10 minutes into our stay. Stayed for 4 days, room service made up the beds but didn't change the sheets once. Coffee machine in room was filthy. My entire family got sick after staying. Guests on the same floor were also sick. Pro: Great view of the mountains and river. Quiet area.

Hotel is currently being updated but everything was still very clean and nice. Breakfast was delicious and the kids loved the indoor swimming pool.

Pool a disappointment.

Pool was too cold to swim in. The pool area had rust and mold on light fixtures. Stunk if strong chlorine. Pleasant staff. Nice room for the price. Close to interstate but far from main attractions of Pigeon Forge. No decent dining near by.

I am pleased that you found our staff pleasant and your room nice. I am concerned regarding your comments regarding our pool and appreciate your information. Our maintenance checks our pools 3 times a day, more if guests are questioning anything. Our pool is allowed to be anywhere between 82-84 degrees. I will be keeping a close eye to make sure they are at the correct temperature. Due to all the chemicals we are required to treat our pools with to keep them safe for our guests, the rust on the light fixtures unfortunately is oxidation of the metal. They have been ordered and will be completely replaced. I have passed your information onto our owners regarding the chlorine smell, while we are required to keep the levels at a certain area for safety, the owners will be installing more circulation vents to make the chlorine smell less noticeable for everyone.
