Great hotel! Close to everything, especially park.

A wonderful stay at this hotel! Walking distance to everything especially the park. The pool and patio area was great for the us. The breakfast was more than adequate before we went on our hikes in the smokies. Room was clean. Staff was very friendly.

Lost laptop and never returned

Location: Days Inn And Suites Downtown Gatlinburg Parkway
Lost laptop and called the front desk for a few days, and no one returned the laptop; It looks like the cleaning people took it home???

Central location

Pros: Location
Cons: Wall holes and discolored room walls.
Location: Gatlinburg was at the doorsteps of Days Inn. We shopped and sightseed.
It was on the parkway so it saved us parking fees around town. We liked the bedsheet and cover. However, the bathroom tiles were broken. The refrigerator froze everything we put it in.

Worst Days Inn I ever stayed at.

Pros: Nothing. Less than one star.
Cons: Everything.
Location: Only good thing was the location.
So bad we checked out a day early. Wife killed two bugs in her bed. Very poorly maintained and in bad need of repair. Will never book at Days Inn ever again. Electrical outlets so bad things would not stay plugged in. Lamps did not work. Employees stressed because did not have enough employees. Really bad experience.

Pros: Our room was spacious and staff was friendly.
Cons: Needs to be remodeled. Online photos should show more current accurate condition of hotel. Outdoor pool needs taken off amenities.
The photos Expedia shows are of newer nicer hotel and from when hotel was new or recently renovated. The outdoor pool was not usable as someone has driven through fence and it was obviously had been that way for some time. It should state so on Expedia site description of hotel. We went for a 7 day vacation and booked with this hotel based upon photos along with availability. We were extremely disappointed as felt trapped in stay because of no refund policy Expedia states.

Worn down Motel

Pros: The location is not too bad. It is on the main parway but at the very southern end so there is still some walking to see most of the attractions .
Cons: Almost everything is in need of replacement, repair or refubishment.

Overall the motel is pretty run down and needs a lot of work. Upon our arrival, th staff was outside on a smoke break. After check in, we were referred to a lady selling tickets to attractios to get our parking pass. The steps from floor to floor had been cemented over to create a handicap ramp but instead creatd a ramp which is too steep to be safe for anyone. The AC unit in our room would no work. Overall, the motel is in a state of disrepair and not what you would normally expect from a Days Inn.

Too much for old unclean facility

The staff complained that Expedia arranged for the request for adjoining rooms... Thank you Expedia! Unhappy staff. Rather grumpy and not welcoming. We got back from Dollywood and there was no parking available after ten o'clock so we finally found a place on the street. Beds we're pretty lumpy. Good thing we're not large people because the bath is so little. If we were going to stay another night I would have attempted to find another place. I won't return. Convenient location is about all I can say positively. Rate it about 1.5 but the rating above won't let me put in my #.

Terrible!!! Save your money.

This was horrible. We just go back from a 4 night stay there. Mold all in the bathroom, no fresh towels. We went to front desk to ask because telephone was broke and they said they was out we would have to wait until next day or she would bring us some. Never received any. The air condition barely blew cold air. It was a mess. And the place looks and smells terrible. I wish I had taken my money else where
