Great location but need so,e TLC

Pros: Location, location, location
Cons: Cleanliness, better internet service
Location: Variety of restaurants to choose from, great shops within walking distance, breakfast at Crocketts Breakfast camp was excellent and only steps away.
We like to stay in upper part of town and Day Inn has great location, never stayed with them so thought we would give it a try, very disappointed! Clerk was sick and acted like it was a chore to check us in, she should've stayed home to take care of herself. Our room had mold in shower, hair on sheets, hangars on floor, I question if was even cleaned, TV continually would stop with error message, Internet would quit within a few minutes of sign on, good things was it was quiet (not many lodgers) and it's right across from The Peddlar which is our favorite restaurant, Ada fabulous dinner as always.

Worst hotel we have ever stayed at!

When we arrived there was no parking anywhere at the hotel, including the parking garage for the hotel. Upon entering and going to the front desk, and notifying the employee we were there to check in, she pretty much had a freak out that we were bothering her. When we got to out room, the room smelled very bad, indescribable. A combination of smoke and mold. The dresser was damaged and scratched. The chairs were scratched, missing paint/stain. There was a red droplet on one chair that may or may not have been blood, see photo. The chair on the balcony was dirty and unuseable. See photo. The pool was dirty with clumps of dirt and black film on liner, possibly mold. Also water was very cold for an indoor pool. See photos. The exhaust piping on the building was rusted off and dislodged. See photo. There was black mold and dirt in the bathroom vent can. See photo. When we asked for towels for the pool area that had none, we were told all the towels were in the wash and not available. This hotel should be torn down and made into a parking lot, it would serve a better purpose to the community that way.

Hotel in very bad condition. Indoor pool cold and not heated Windows broke out in the pool area. Driveway dirty and trash not picked up. Room was in bad condition carpet dirty bed was hard bedspread had burnt holds in it. The bath was so small you couldn't turn around. The shower safety handle broke and missing. Tub was cracked. This hotel should not be part of Days Inns. Was a horable 2 days we left early because we couldn't sleep in that bed.

Older hotel, But Clean.

The hotel is older, but clean. The room was small, but the bed was very comfortable. Walking distance to just about everything. I would stay again.

Disgusting

The hotel is very dirty. There were dirty towels behind the reception desk, the room doors were hanging by a thread and had to be swung hard to be able to shut. Needless to say how dangerous that is if you are traveling with children or staying for more than one night and leaving luggage in the room. Room next to mine had the number written with sharpie on a piece of paper and taped to the door. For a little more you can find a decent hotel on the same road.

Nice hotel closed to everthing

Good experience had a nice time at the hotel staff was helpful rooms was clean would recommend hope Gatlinburg is OK we had to leave before the fire

Pros: Location on the end or Parkway was great and within walking distance to most Gatlinburg attractions
Cons: Rooms were dated, breakfast buffet needed to be stocked.
Location: Lift to Ober Gatlinburg was 1 block away, which was very convenient.
Motel was a bit dilapidated. Staff was friendly, but you could tell it was a budget motel. Not enough food was put on the breakfast buffet so you had to ask each morning for something to be refilled and not enough towels were put in each room.

Nice everything walking distance

No table or chairs or lamps in room . The ice machines was not working ..the coffee pot was nasty .breafast was good .

Location is great

Great location but definitely needs updating. Room was dark not enough light in bathroom, refrigerator didn't get cold .

Location: great location on the parkway
room was very clean ,could use a remodel in near future. they were painting the exterior during our stay.
