Dingy, dirty, in inspiring.

Our first impression seeing the place was just, "eww!" Whole complex and rooms are poorly lit, with dingy dark mustard colored paint. Air conditioning/ heating unit vents covered in grime. The room smelled of "dirty dust." We had to buy febreeze to spray on carpet and curtains. Walls are thin, we could hear crying baby and loud television volumes through our wall. Not to mention racing/revving go-karts directly across our parking lot.
Also, our door-keys failed to work on 4 different occasions. Had to keep going to service desk to reprogram. Frustrating!
Hotel was centrally located to all venues and price was $80 per night. It's not too much to ask for a clean and fresh-smelling room is it? Won't stay there again.

Thanks for staying with us at Days Inn & Suites Pigeon Forge. We're sorry to know we were unable to meet your stay expectations. It is always our endeavor to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable but sometimes we fall short. We apologize for the inconvenience you had during your stay. The key-cards have a magnetic strip on it that deactivates itself if they come in contact with a magnet like a smartphone, handbag snap etc. We'll share the other issues mentioned internally to work on fixable ones at the earliest. Thanks for choosing us during your recent visit. We hope you'll consider giving us another chance. We look forward to seeing you again.
