First let me start by saying this. My husband and I pride ourselves on being low maintenance, low key, type of people. It really doesn’t take much to please us and it takes a lot of things going wrong for me to leave a negative review. First, we are informed ON OUR WAY THERE that the hot tub wasn’t working. Ok, huge disappointment as that’s our MAIN point in renting a cabin versus a hotel somewhere. We could have saved a lot of money by booking a hotel for the same amenities, if not better. The owner simply said “I don’t know what to say....I’m booked up the next three months and I don’t know what to I need to do,” finally giving us the option to “find another place” as if that were really just that simple. Also, I only got the code to get in the door AFTER I had to send a follow up email on our way there (of which struck the bad news of the hot tub). Once we get to the cabin although it is beautiful, the sliding barn door to the downstairs room is so loud I can’t even get up and go to the bathroom in the middle of the night without waking up literally every member in the place. My almost 2 year old is a horrible sleeper and this was incredibly inconvenient. There was also no airflow in the downstairs bedroom at all. Also was not given any WiFi password. Not sure if they have it or not. No instructions on what to do upon departure. This is not a family friendly cabin. Just a heads up if you have small children this is probably not the best place to stay! Super disappointed in this place. Will definitely NOT be returning here again!
