In fact, the mattresses on the two queen beds in the room were very uncomfortable, very soft and we had back pain, the rest was fine.

Not Pet friendly. The 3 rd fl balcony rail was spaced so our 25 lb dog could fall through. $75 additional for a pet?!?! Im sure that was hidden in the very fine print

Thank you for the feedback. We do apologize you felt the hotel was not pet friendly. It is posted online about the pet fee. Pets/children are not supposed to be left unattended on the balconies. We even display a sticker on the balcony door stating so.

5 day trip to go skiing primarily so decided on a hotel instead of a cabin. Best location!! It’s on the Near the main drag but near the end so it’s not as busy. Right near tram if that’s needed. We had planned to use the tram but just drove up to Ober and it was fine. Much cheaper to drive there. Hampton was very convenient for our entire stay. Walked to daily Mass. Great dining options and lots to do around the hotel. Had a newly renovated balcony room over the creek which was great. Awakened every morning by chirping birds. Opened our door to hear the soothing creek sound. Daily breakfast looked pretty good even though we didn’t use it much because of our schedule. Really enjoyed Howard’s restaurant and the Flapjack Cabin both across the street. Starbucks is just a short walk away but the hotel lobby has good hot coffee also. Staff was great. Room was clean. Parking was fine. Internet and TV was good too. We’ll definitely be back!

The desk clerk was incredibly nice.I had my 97 year old Mother with me and ahe gave me her parking place to get her closer to the room. I was texted during the blstay to make sure the stay was going well.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Hampton Gatlinburg. The staff was amazing and made the check-in so easy. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good also. The location was great and easy to walk to all of Gatling irg areas! My only complaint was that the doors had a space which let air & noise in and someone left their dogs on the balcony, making it very loud. Overall a great stay for the price.

Room was clean and fresh. The staff was super friendly. The hot water setting for the shower did not get hot so we took extremely quick baths to not freeze.

Our room was dirty, the shower head was old and crusty, there was hair in the sink, really needed up dating. Construction going on the parking lot, very limited parking. Mattress in our room was terrible, needs to be replaced. I could feel every spring in the mattress. The location is great, staff was nice, creek was beside our room, Ober Gatlin is next door. Probably won’t stay here again to be honest

The hotel is located at the entrance of the town, excellent for getting to all places on foot, check-in was not good, it was wonderful! As they are remodeling the hotel, they gave us a room with a lot of smell of paint but this was not a problem, they immediately changed our room, the attention of the reception staff has no comparison, it was impeccable, there is a little noise due to the construction but with how tired you get from walking so much you don't even feel! includes full hot breakfast. I will definitely return very soon to take my mom and my family.

Renovations wasted money!
The room had been remodeled. Was in pristine condition but had problems. The mattress was the softest bed I’ve ever slept on in my life. It offered virtually no support. The bathroom was teeny-tiny. The single sink faucet was positioned on the corner of the bathroom cabinet. This caused water to be spread everywhere while you washed your hands, face, coffee cup, etc. A wet floor was a constant issue. THE WORST problem was the 15 inch commode. A small child would have no access problems. My 6’4” husband …no such luck. At 5’5” , my arthritic knees protested every time I sat on the commode. Why would you put such a low toilet in a motel room?

This hotel is in a great location. We could walk to the Gatlinburg trail in the Smoky Mountain park, as well as walk to the many shops and restaurants. The staff was super friendly and attentive. I appreciated getting a text message, asking if we needed anything. It was great to communicate that way. We had a lightbulb out that I could text about and get taken care of without hassling with stopping at the desk or having to call. Breakfast was decent, and the staff was always refilling and cleaning. Traffic can get pretty congested there, so sometimes getting in and out of the lot is a challenge, but the location just can't be beat. Very close to the park entrance, so it worked out great for us, as we were there primarily to hike and see the park.

Very clean room. Staff was extremely customer friendly. I think if we had called them and asked them to turn down our beds, they would have done it! Breakfast was very good and was changed up a bit each day to make it more interesting. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Clean room but noisy.
The room we were in was recently renovated. Beds were comfortable and room was clean. It was very noisy at night due to the outside entrance but that is not the fault of the Hampton.

This Hotel is in the middle of renovations so it will soon be much better. Parking is limited because of this. This is our second time staying here both times in the older rooms. They are definitely in need of updating(which they are working on) but over all clean. The bed was not the most comfortable or the pillows so hopefully these things are also being updated in each room as they renovate. Great location for walking to everything on the strip. All employees we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

There was construction going on at the building that produces a lot of noise early mornings. A large dumpster occupied multiple parking spaces and attracted bugs and wildlife including bears. The hotel room was filled out with drain flies which most likely came from the dumpster outside. Overall it was a bad experience.

wonderful local and pet friendly
The only issue was lack of parking due to the upper lot being resurfaced and the current construction taking up additional parking in the lower level. Staff and room were excellent. We stay here for the strip being right outside and they allow pets.
