Bad mold, bad parking, run down

Nice it was pet friendly but everything else was just a bad let down. No parking, mold growing on walls, no dryer, no coffee maker, no iron, phones didn't work, door lock broke, smelled bad - moldy, no courtesy breakfast, run down and old. WiFi was less than usable. Sad we had to stay there once we realized it was a dive.

Reserved a smoking room...went to check in they were out of them, so they upgraded me to non smoking with a private balcony. That was a joke the balcony door wouldn't latch half the time...even came back to the room once and it was standing open in 90 degree heat. A/c from room above leaked water on balcony. You could see other hotel across from balcony and it was trashed below balcony.Bathroom was tiny. Pool was small and slimy. Pool furniture was rusted and dirty.

Run down

Dirty floors, stained sheets and wash cloths. Shower curtain had mildew on it. Pillows flat and stuffing coming out. Spider in bathroom. Laminate flooring had big hole in it under sink and coming up in various parts of the room. Pool had no water in it. Parking limited. Trash and debris piled up in parking space there. Motel behind other abandoned motels. First sign to turn around. This doesn't even rate a one star. Very disappointed.

Terrible! Room was dirty and smelled awful. No parking or elevator.

Check in was easy. The room was clean and comfortable and enjoyed the balcony.

AC button did not work, thankful it was not HOT out. Pretty warm for sleeping. Beds were comfortable.

Family trip

Good value located right at the edge of town by the entrance to the Smokey mountains. They do not have a breakfast even though online it stated they do. Overall the rooms are fairly decent and updated. The WiFi was very patchy and unreliable. Seemed to only work at night. Otherwise a good deal

I've stayed in dive motels and motels in Africa with a latrine in the floor. I figured this Motel 6 would be cake. We had our dog and just wanted a simple room. There were hairs on the toilet, stains in the tub and sink, and the beds were NASTY. Both beds were like oatmeal, squishy and saggy. We'd even brought our own pillows and comforter but we couldn't relax the beds were so disgusting. First time in my life I left a hotel. We left at 9pm and drove 3.5 hours home. As for the exterior, the dog area was unlit with trash everywhere. If Gatlinburg has a bad part of town this is it. A woman at the hotel next door was drunk at 6:30 pm screaming about child welfare issues. We would not stay here again.
