The “Queen” bed was the size of a twin maybe a foot wider. Not the best situation for our first anniversary trip.

I booked a room through Expedia at this hotel on March 28th. for a stay on May 18th. Well when I arrived all the furniture was pulled out into the parking lot, no one was there working, and there was a note taped to the door that they had closed at the end of April! So there I was with a reservation to a closed down hotel!

Not a fan
I can’t be too harsh as they are clearly trying to make improvements. Staff nice but not well presented. Carpets filthy not a welcoming atmosphere in the room. It was cheap and felt cheap & dirty. I wouldn’t stay again.

Front desk staff was helpful and friendly! The room was not the best the bathroom doer handle was broken, and there was a hole in the bathtub that was just covered up. The air didn’t work so it was very hot. Booked a queen bed room and had a double bed for two adults, not enough room.

Could not get to the hotel due to black ice. Cars were sliding all over the roads and into ditches. I got just a little up Veterans Road and had to turn around and go back down the hill due to it being unsafe for myself. I tried to call Rodeway and let them know and the phone did not even ring. I tried for hours and no luck. Tried to call the 800 number and they would not help me they told me I had to call the actually Rodeway. I tried to explained to them they were not answering the phone they said sorry nothing we can do for you. They should post that unless you have 4 wheel drive you can't get up the road for sure in the winter time. I don't even know if my car would of gone up that road in regular road conditions.

Staff was very nice & helpful. Had issues with very noisy neighbors late in night. Staff took care of problem. Issue resolved. Had issues with elevator not working. No big deal. Overall was a good stay.

STAY AWAY
We woke up to dripping in our room (on our beds) to which ended up being more like rain. There is no one working or available for emergencies, check in or anything else between 8pm - 8am. Needless to say, we couldn't change rooms so we all had to share 1 bed. By morning the whole bathroom and the majority of the room had standing water it in, and had flooded into the hallway. No one attempted to clean this up, or assess the leak until 12 hours after it started leaking. No refrigerater, microwave, or heat and air in the room. The shower didnt have a nozzle. No towels. It was an absolute NIGHTMARE. I wouldn't allow my pet to stay here, must less ever bring my family back. Still awaiting my refund.... I have a ton of photos, but for some reason I can not post. Shocker!

The best thing about this hotel was the staff- very helpful with what they had to work with, which isn’t much. The hotel itself is in awful shape- a heater in the room and ac in the window. Curtains falling off, tiny room, smallest queen bed I’ve ever seen. Staff said that renovation we’re going to take place soon, but until then, I would not go back to this hotel.

The motel was fairly clean,but it was loaded with roaches.The staff was very friendly.The manger told me that the man had been coming in to spray for the roaches but they still are having a problem with them.She moved me to another room on another floor and that room also had them! I was not happy at all!!! The property needs redone all over.Every space and room needs help bad! Upgraded needed bad!!!

There was an odor in the hotel that was unpleasant. There was no hot water in the shower or sink. They were supposedly "under renovations," but there was no evidence of that. The desk clerk was very kind and helpful. There was no remote for the TV when we got there. Fortunately they were able to locate one and have maintainence program it. I don't typically leave unsatisfactory reviews but feel it necessary for this so others can be aware.

It was a little noisy. It's pet friendly and a lot of people would leave their dogs alone in the rooms. They would bark at someone going down the hall and it would set all the other ones off.

The lady working at the front desk was SO sweet. But the condition of the hotel is not good. It was very dirty, there were bugs and some of the windows were broken. The hotel also had a cigarette smell to it. But again, the worker was super sweet. The hotel was not cleanly though.

The service was great—everyone there was super friendly and sweet. The deadbolt on my first room didn’t work, so I requested a change. I got it with zero issues, which I appreciated. HOWEVER, there are definitely cockroaches. I found 3 live ones and 1 dead one in my room. No phone in the room (weird)…but, honestly? It was tidy, despite the bugs (yuck) and I didn’t feel unsafe.

The pictures on your website are very deceiving. The rooms do not have central air. They all have window units. You cannot close the curtains because of the window unit. The hotel is extremely old. And there’s active construction going on within a few feet of the hotel.

I had to ask for things, that should have been in the room already. There was no phone in the room. I had to use my own phone to call for take out. It was close to things, and I liked the laundry room. The ice was free. No refrigerator no microwave hair dryer and no phone.
