Nice view of the river!

Posted Aug 19, 2015
Cons: I did not like the restroom-like soap and shampoo dispensers in the bathroom.
We booked last minute using Expedia so we settled for whatever they gave us. The room was okay. It had a tub with jets in it! My boyfriend just laughed. We had a mini balcony (we were on the first floor so it just looked into the back lot then to the river). The river was beautiful and we fed geese from the balcony. The sheets had minor staining which we just brushed off. It really was worth what we paid. It was not fantastic or the best hotel out of our trip, but it did it's job. We were right by the small indoor pool as well which was nice, but again nothing spectacular. The staff was not exceptional. He seemed more annoyed at checking us in and we had to wait till he was done talking with his friend. He even tried to charge me twice, which I luckily caught and stopped.

Nasty,trashy,funk

DON'T STAY HERE!! The hotel and rooms are filthy. We had hair in the bed old food on the floor. Chewed toothpicks on the floor dried blood on the sheets! When you walk in the building you can tell it's bad.We left ASAP. Would not stay here for free!

Pros: The balcony and view from our room.
Cons: Improved laundry services, better pillows and bedding that stays on the bed and doesn't slide off. The elevator was also slow, so we used the steps.
The balcony and view from our room was the highlight of this stay. It was also located near the mountains, many activities, and shops. The beds weren't very comfortable and the pillows were flat as pancakes. It had a jetted tub located in the room with no privacy, which I found a little strange. We were given a coupon to use at a local pancake house, but there was no breakfast available. There also weren't any vending machines for snacks and soda. We chose this hotel so we could do laundry. There was one washer and one dryer and no machines that sold detergent. The washer was already full and someone had two more bags of laundry to wash. I ended up going to a laundromat, which also had no detergent for sale. I had to drive to a store to buy detergent. Washing a simple load of laundry became a huge ordeal.

Nice Hotel close to everything in Pigeon Forge, TN

Posted Jul 26, 2015
Pros: I loved the comfort of the room, I loved the jacuzzi tub, and the big king-sized bed. Loved the balcony view of the river and the mountains.
Location: It was about 5 miles from The Island in Pigeon Forge. A lot of restaurants near the hotel. There are plenty of Arcades, go-kart tracks, and mini golf.
This was a vacation getaway for my husband and me. We have not had a vacation in a long time. The hotel was great. The room was huge. Bigger than I expect it to be. Had a nice view of the river and the mountains. The hotel was close to all the attractions in Pigeon Forge. I would stay here again. Did not get to enjoy the indoor pool, but we did enjoy playing in the river. Which was a plus!
