Much needed repairs!

Posted Dec 3, 2016
Hotel is old but the bathroom was is desperate need of a repair. There was no cold water for the sink and the shower water spot was pulled away from the wall and looked like it was going to fall apart. It was all rusted and was not easy to turn off and on.

Never stay here!

Posted Nov 2, 2016
This hotel was awful! It was run down and dirty. It smelled awful. There was hair in the bathtub, and there wasn't even a blanket on the bed. The WiFi wouldn't work, and the keys to the room stopped working a few times. It was an awfull experience!

Decent location to downtown but that's all

Posted Oct 25, 2016
I stay at low price hotels often so not expecting the Hilton but this one is pretty bad . Got there at 6 pm ... The room they gave us had the front door wide open ...manager hollering across the parking lot to the maid to see if it was ready ....that was after giving us the room key and unloading the car . Had NO toliet paper in the room , no shampoo , beds like a concrete slab . Breakfast was horrible, runny gravy, greasy hard biscuits, NO Milk till I asked for it, pretty lousy even for a super 8 . It's a place to sleep, short walk to downtown , safe enough ......but surely there are better options ...

Great location

Posted Oct 10, 2016
Pros: Love the location! It was a good deal for the money!
Cons: Construction across the road that started before daylight. They forgot to leave coffee in the room two mornings.
Location: You could walk to breakfast and shopping and the historic nature trail was just above when we wanted to drive over the mountains.
The room was large but the second and third nights we kept getting visited by ants in the bathroom sink. The toliet ran all the time. The water pressure was great!

Overall dirty and very worn place.

Posted Sep 17, 2016
Pros: Close to the main strip.
Cons: Everything
The area where the hotel was located had a horrible smell outside. The website stated the hotel had a pool and hot tub which was a must when I was looking for a place to stay for the week. When we arrived at the hotel we were told the pool had closed for the year "because it was cold, even though the temperature was in the 90s everyday" the day before we checked in but the hot tub was still open. So the next evening we decided to check out the hot tub out it was cold so we called the office and they said if you turn the bubbles on that it would drain the hot tub and that it should be hot and if it wasn't they didn't know what to do. As for the room they were old and only cleansed on the surface. By the third day we had to move rooms because our air condition had quit working. They had no first aid kit when we had ask for a band aid. The Wifi would only connect after like 5 tries and wouldn't load any websites. The breakfast was horrible the gravy was basically gray water and the biscuit was extremely hard. We ended up with the only two rooms that didn't have an outside light. The TV was busted in the second room. The bathtub drain was rusted and we had rust in the water (a toddler couldn't take a shower.) Overall it was very poorly maintained and outdated. DO NOT stay here unless you just can't afford to stay somewhere else or just need a place to crash overnight.

Great value and good breakfast. It is so close to the Smoky Mountain National Park! Highly recommend it.
