July visit

Our room was very tiny. We paid a pretty penny, expecting a king bed and a jetted tub. We had s full bed and a pull out sofa. Not even a tub, just a shower. The response was, Expedia is not guaranteed, depends upon availability at time of check in.

Nice and upscale room.

The room had a wonderful view. Really nice room and the restaurants onsite had great food. Really a great location in between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Two Huge downfalls to staying here!! We stayed during peak vacation time. So Extremely crowed! But the Absolute Worst thing ever was NO Parking!! Had to park at the top of the mountain by the pool each night and walk back down the mountain two sections of rooms to get to were we stayed in the 3rd rooms from the top of the mountain!!! Really Poor engineering/construction design flaw!! Just because of that I won't go back again. If you can't park at your room/section of rooms you are staying at it is just ridiculous.

Great room but poor communication

The room was very nice. We were not told important information up front. Watermark was a disappointment, not very clean and very smelly.

Beautiful location geared to timeshare owners

Location and view were fantastic. It did not feel like a hotel but as a timeshare operation. No daily room cleaning for instance. At check out we had to put linnen by front door. Wifi was terrible in our room. Only one at the time and then still it was not always.functional. bathroom and kitchen were fine and Clean. Personnel was nice and helpful. Close to Gatlinburg mainstrip.

Too focused on time share tours

The resort was very big with only 1 restaurant and slow and limited shuttle service to get you around. We were baking in the Sun waiting for a shuttle whereas golf carts were constantly passing us by designated for timeshare tours. The restaurant...after providing a free bbq to new timeshare owners...was out of certain foods at dinnertime which they didn't tell us until they were about to bring our food out. As regular vacation guests, we were put on the back burner. We stayed 1 week and were given only 1 coffee filter. The market was less than par, limited selection and very expensive. We had to go into town to buy coffee to brew so I could have a nice cup in the mornings. The pools were dirty...we didn't even get in. The hot tub was small and milky looking.

Mountain Retreat

I was scared after reading all the reviews that they were going to try and sell me something. Not once did that happen. Our Villa was wonderful and the staff friendly!

An Amazing experience

bugs in room, no bedding for second guest, room was dirty. had another person with me and only one towel was provided for the restroom.
