Overall, the room was tasteful and spacious for the price, but there was no real view, basically a window on a bleak courtyard. We were quite comfortable, however.
I believe the hotel has rooms with walk--in showers and I wish I had requested one, as getting into and out of the tub -- and showering in it -- could be treacherous, as the tub was narrow and there was only one very low grab bar.
The housekeeper allowed the bar soap to shrivel down to a sliver before replacing it. And how about legible labels on the other toiletries. Print was too small to read.
Oddly, because the hotel has a card stating that they won't change the sheets unless asked, we noticed that our sheets were being changed daily, despite not asking, so we mentioned it to the front desk. This continued, so we mentioned it again and also directly to the housekeeper (My French is excellent.) She reacted as if it were a foreign concept to her. I don't think we ever got through to the hotel that we didn't want the sheets changed.
Parking was very convenient with the always reliable valet service. The restaurant was too expensive for us to try, including for breakfast. The bar prices were also out of line.
Still, we worked our way around these minor beefs, and would happily stay there again.
