Convenient but bare

Excellent night and weekend staff. Convenient to rail, bus, and the lake. Floors uncovered and walls thin, so it can be noisy. Gym is very good, breakfast is acceptable , and amenities very spare. Reasonable for the money

Convenient with locations

Posted Oct 17, 2016
Location: The train station, Water Jet. Flower Clock, Lake shore, the Old City, etc
Nice staff, included breakfast is very practical and convenient. The hotel is closed not only to the train station but also to many sightseeing places. The hotel also provided tickets for the public transport, which was very helpful for the visit at Unated Nations and other international organizations.

Super helpful staff

Location: Lots of affordable restaurants within 30 second walking distance. Its in the center of Geneva. The main train station is 3 minutes away. Two McDonald
The location of this hotel is pretty much perfect. Everything is within walking distance. The rooms are clean. The coffee that is included in the breakfast was one of the best coffee we had ever had in our lives. The staff were extremely helpful!! A big thank you to all of them!

Could do with a bit of a pick me up.

The decor is great in the communal areas but getting bit tired in the bedrooms. The bathroom in particular needed a lot of attention and was not in accord with the market they are pitching at. Mould, flaking paint and the shower rail held up with string and a nail. Breakfast simple but good. This hotel is not good for nervous single women travellers. It's in the middle of the red light district with large groups of men hanging around. Therefore noisy on a Saturday night. The manager is quite a character and very helpful with directions. Perfect location for exploring the city centre but also for day trips as next to the train station transport hub.

Expensive, uncomfortable room, v slow internet

Posted Sep 23, 2016
Booked a king bed, ended up with 2 single beds. 1 bed was incredibly creaky & actually broke on the 2nd night with the slats falling apart. The other bed was not very comfortable. Room was very dark, main light did not work. Internet was awful, very slow when it did work & mostly was not able to do any work while in my room. Bathroom was very much a DIY effort. TV only had a couple of channels that actually had a picture. Clearly the owner is happy to rake in the cash without putting much effort into the rooms. Would not stay there again. Also---be the street is the main street for prostitutes. Not a problem in itself but something to be aware of.

Uncomfortable room

Posted Sep 23, 2016
Pros: The hotel staff is friendly and pleasant.
Cons: Install air conditioner and bright lights in the room.
Location: location is good, close to the train station and places of interest to visit.
The hotel room is very small and dark. There are only 3 little lights, two bedside lights and one mirror light. The room has no air conditioning. A portable fan is provided. With temperature at 28 C is uncomfortable. The staff suggested to open the window overnight. It never came to my mind that a 3 star hotel does not have air conditioning. Terrible. Small elevator, can only accommodate two persons with two hand carry luggage.
