Excellent staff

Pros: The Staff
Cons: Heated swimming pool
Location: Location is a taxi ride from down town but quite and not too far from the airport
The staff are probably the best I have experienced in Switzerland

The property was nice and located with a bus stop at the corner, but it is overpriced for the room and especially the restaurant. Go to the Co-op next door for food and supplies.

Best hotel we ever stayed. They need to change our room due to someone coming to hotel and we are given a suite. Exceptional hotel

Not up to it's name...

If you have business nearby, this is an okay choice, but otherwise, it's quite an average hotel in terms of service and food quality, and one that seems a bit past it's prime. We paid about $600 a night for our room, yet had to ask 6 times to have a couple of extra coffee pods sent to the room. Each time, we were promised yes, but nothing was delivered. Finally, we spoke with the housekeeping manager who seemed indignant that we asked and repeated several times that coffee pods for the machine in the room were "not free"and we had to pay for them. His poor attitude certainly tainted our experience and we won't be back. Other staff were polite and pleasant, but service was not personalized as you'd expect in a hotel of this level.

Lovely Spa and swimming pool

I enjoyed my stay. Reception staff should have explained more about the Spa facilities to clients.

Not quite 5 out of 5 but great service

Great service but fell down slightly on the fact that I had requested a single bed for my 3 year old son and when checking in was informed that this had been done but went to the room and there was a cot. Quickly rectified but the little detail on this point made the rating slightly lower. However, great service, great staff and Intercontinental beds a joy to sleep in!

Service Excellence

A short weekend away, one night and two days in Geneva. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful. We had asked for two reservations at restaurants, including requests to inform the venues of a vegetarian requirement and everythings was handled very professionally. Thought his is a large hotel, we were made to feel very personally welcome and not ;just another guest'

Short and sweet

Even though we were just overnighting they treated us with attention you would expect if you took a suite for a week. Seamless courtesy from all. They arranged a perfect Bistro lunch and a perfect dinner spot on the Lake. Great way to see Geneva is to take the # 5 bus downtown and back, even if you would normally take a cab. Don't miss the Patek Museum!

Your stop to enjoy Geneva (and France)

Alongside Mzaar Intercontinental (Lebanon), this is the Intercontinental I use the most due to its great location, service and specially staff. From front desk staff to the concierge (Nicolas) you will be well taken care of on all levels and you feel you could ask for anything
