Don't Do It!

Posted Mar 9, 2017 on Orbitz
Cons: Lots!
In the room with two twin beds, the bathroom is super tiny. The window was broken and covered in cardboard, there was no mention of this upon check in. I had to give a deposit for the television remote!

Very nice hotel inside only had a fan in room no school so found room a bit hot had to have windows open. Great transport links to city centre, it's more in a residential area though

Basic hotel handy for town

Posted Feb 25, 2017
Pros: Convenience of location and friendly staff
Cons: Needs decorating so that all areas are well presented.
Location: There is a top 10 list of things to do in Geneva and we managed about 6 of them while we were there. Check opening times before you visit.
On entry the hotel is lovely, although has several steep stairs to negotiate. Sitting areas were in good repair. Staff were friendly and helpful, the corridors and room were shabby, paint peeling off the roof, threadbare carpets and generally in need of a good decorate. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. Great thing is that the hotel gave us the travel card which enables you to travel on any bus or tram and some water buses as well. This was a huge hit and enabled us to travel to the outskirts of Geneva as well as within town.

Great deal - very close to everything

A cozy place, walking distance to UN Palais des Nations and the railroad station. But beware - the breakfast is 30 Swiss Francs! Great staff - let me check in super early.

Good value for money in a nice neighborhood

Posted Feb 12, 2017 on Hotels
Nice location in a real neighborhood with several options for dining and shopping like a local, the hotel staff is helpful, bathroom is always cleaned well, internet connection is slow at times. Great choice if one wants to stay away from the Cornavin train station hotel area. The NH Rex will be undergoing a major refurbishment between March and July 2017 and will be closed.

Nice hotel but needs refurbishment

Posted Feb 3, 2017
Pros: - location - food - service
Cons: Renovate furniture, decoration, paint the walls/change wallpaper
Location: Well located, close to buses, tram, direct bus to the airport
The staff was nice and the breakfast was very good. The rooms are nice, however I noticed: - falling wallpaper from the wall, - stains on the carpet which make you feel like it is super dirty - double bed with two separate 90cm mattresses which have a break in between of 10cm - very uncomfortable if coming in a couple - very small room although picture show the contrary - dust behind the toilet desk ....

Not recommended

The staff is ok but the room was old, lacking maintenance, you could see cracks on the wall and ceiling, furniture and carpert were stained, looked very dirty, hair dryer fixed with tape. Bad experiencience overall, Perfect examine of how Internet pictures can be completely false and misschieving.
