great location -Posted Feb 29, 2016
Pros: location and reasonable rates.
Location: restaurants and public transportation.
great location - able to walk to many attractions and restaurants plus close to public transportation. Hotel staff pleasant and extremely helpful. Hotel provided 1 day transit pass - able to visit other areas of city and catch public transit to airport. Room (2 twin beds) basic but worked out well. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Huge apartment with local flavorPosted Jan 25, 2016
Pros: Staff, location, room size.
Cons: Tub quite small, with a low but removable showerhead. If you're tall, expect it to be awkward. Elevator was tiny, but typical for type of building.
This is not a US chain hotel. No bold carpets, no jacuzzi tub, no gleaming elevators, no fancy toiletries. Instead you get a huge room, friendly staff, good breakfast, and good location. No view, but plenty to make up for it. The hotel appears to be 7 stories of converted apartments -- plain but practical. My room had a separate bedroom (with 2 twin beds pushed together) and living room (2 more twins, separated) with an actual, though tiny, kitchen -- perfectly adequate for storing a few groceries or leftovers, perhaps even cooking a light meal. Add in a few pieces of furniture, coffee maker, a TV in both rooms, adequate and free wireless internet. The location is walkable to the old town and the lake, and is less than a block from a tram stop. Breakfast was quite nice, and included in my rate. Boiled eggs, deli meats, pastries, bread, cheese, yogurt, granola, fruit, juices. Coffee or your favorite variety thereof prepared fresh by the friendly staff member when you sit down. Staff were forgiving of my total lack of French, happy to loan a plug converter and replace a forgotten toothbrush, and to give directions to local attractions, at any time of day or night. They provided maps of the city and of the train routes, and a free train pass for the duration of my stay. I was traveling on business but would have enjoyed staying here for leisure so I could take better advantage of the kitchenette and location. Would definitely stay again.

A little gemPosted Jan 23, 2016
The hotel is located near the old Geneva in a quiet street from where you can reach the tram in 2 minutes - bonus: the hotel provides free of charge a pass to use public transportation for the duration of your stay. The room is spacious with a little kitchen and a firm mattress. There are 200 channels available on TV in guess you want to chill in the living room. Finally the breakfast is buffet style and has all the typical options and is perfect to get your day started. The only cons is that there is no gym room to excercise if you need to stay in shape. I guess in summer you can easily jog toward the lake in 5 minutes and enjoy a great vista - in winter that's a different story.

Friendly staff. Good breakfast included in price. However, if you want to cook be aware the kitchenette is very basic.

Well located comfortable apartmentPosted Nov 6, 2015
Pros: It was in a very convenient location, quiet, well-priced, most comfortable and the apartment's kitchenette was an advantage.
Location: Transport at your doorstep allows you to easily access the Old Town, the Geneva CDB, the Lake and the UN Headquarters and International Red Cross muse
The hotel is in an excellent location, with bus and tram transport at your doorstop, including a bus direct to the train station or the airport. There is a supermarket around the corner, which enables you to do a quick shop to stock up for food preparation in the small, but adequate kitchenette in the apartment. Breakfast was also included in the tariff which is always a plus and the staff were friendly and helpful, and spoke English, also a plus for those of us whose French language skills are not very good.
