Nice hotel at airport

Love the location.

Pros: Location
Cons: Hotel staff, particularly in the bar and restaurant
Location: Airport
It is so easy to get to the hotel from airport. There is a subway which operates 21 hours in a day, frequency of subway is every 3 mins.

SECOND STAY AT THIS HOTEL

Pros: staff, cleanliness.. most importantly, its proximity to the airport!
I was in Houston 4 months ago for business and stayed at this hotel. It was such an enjoyable stay that we booked again this past weekend, again for business.

Front desk staff ruined our experience

Pros: Conveniently located inside the airport, getting to the hotel and from the hotel to check in our bags was a breeze.
Cons: Invest a little in your front desk staff, it's your first impression and for us was horrible
Derek at front desk had a bad attitude, he made a mistake upon cheking us in and he just seemed that didn't care at all. We had to talk to someone else to explain to us that our reservation for club room included free breakfast and access to a lounge with snacks and non alcoholic beverages all day long. He wanted to charge us again the $40.00 usd as he just didn't seem to care that we already paid that through expedia. I honestly could go on and on about this, because we talked to Derek 2 times and both of them the experience was bad, but I would also like to acknowledge the staff from the restaurant, which was just great. It was a short stay, so that's all we could tell

Very nice staff even with my late arrival from the airport as they arranged the shuttle to come and pick me up as the tramway from IAH Bush airport was to stop running at 12:30 a.m. Although my stay was very short lived I would recommend the hotel to others especially if your lay over times at IAH are short as the Marriott is located only a few minutes away.
