1st off the room is small and smelled like something burned, the basketball goal was broken, the carpet was dirt walking into the room, the bed wasn't that conformable, but for breakfast was okay on Friday the other days was basic

Good hotel close to the airport with to and fro sh

Pros: Conveniently located from the airport. Good for short stays.
Cons: Providing a restaurant for meal service would have been helpful
Location: Apart from being near the airport, no other activities close by.
Very convenient hotel for short stay at Houston near the airport. The shuttle service is very good and the staff in general very helpful. The suites are well maintained and spacious with all necessary amenities. Even though there's no restaurant facilities at the hotel or nearby, the hotel gives you a take out menu of a nearby restaurant from which you can order meals for delivery to the hotel. However the hotel serves very good hot breakfast in the morning to all the guests.

NEW SKILLETS ON BACK ORDER

So, I checked in to the hotel for the weekend for family r&r trip for my father, nephew, and niece. The plan for the weekend was to cook for my family since this was a rare occasion. However, when I looked under the cabinet I noticed that there was not a skillt available. When contacting to inquire if the rooms came with a skillet along with the other pots I was advised that most of them do but it just so happens that my room was one of the one that didn't have one. In addition she advised me that they ordered more skillets and that they should be arriving soon. As a result, I had to fry my shrimp, and French fries in s small veggie pot. My expectation for this type of dilemma is that maybe someone from the staff could possibly check to see if there is an extra skillet in one of the vacant rooms. By doing this, it sends a message to the customer that you are doing everything within your power to make them feel like they are at a home away from home (Residence Inn) Just a thought. Other than that, my family and I enjoyed our stay

Okay at best

The hotel smelled absolutely horrible. Not aesthetically pleasing in the least bit either. Thankfully the room didn't smell as bad though, but still had to buy Febreze just to make it through the night. Definitely not somewhere I'd recommend.

Affordable but uncomfortable bed.

There's not much near this hotel in terms of quick food or stores. There's a jack in the box nearby and that's about it. I do believe Greenspoint Mall is nearby but there's not a ton of restaurants nearby. It's best to take the 15 minute drive to Willowbrook Mall area where there's tons to do and eat. The first room given to us had remodeling construction going on. The bedroom door was lying against the wall, off the hinges. There was an electric drill with screws one the dining table. The bathroom mirror was not attached to the wall. It just seemed like it was under construction and not prepared for guests. The second room was better but the beds were horrible. When I got in the bed, I thought it was super soft until I rolled right into a huge dip in the middle. Once my 300lb husband got in, we were both face to face in the sinkhole in the bed. Think I Love Lucy episode where they went out of town (and stopped at that crazy lodge) and shared the bed with the huge dip in the middle. That was us. Eventually I moved to sleep on the sofa bed and it was so hard and uneven in so many spots that my night's sleep was totally ruined. There was hair in the bathtub and remnants of bath soap film and pieces floating at the base. And of course we couldn't help that other guests decided to utilize their kitchen space by cooking very potent smelling foods that filled the hallway. Other than that, everything else was good and clean.

Handicapped tub was extremely slippery and couch was very low so hard to get out of if you are handicapped.
