Hotel in mountain town

Pros: The staff was friendly and polite.
This is probably the largest hotel in Blackhawk. It is nice but not a five star. The room was very convenient to the elevators. They have most of the amenities that you need to relax. If you enjoy a casino and mountains, this is a nice place to go.

Wonderful view and very friendly staff! The room was clean and spacious. The bed could've been softer and better made up. But overall I would definitely recommend this hotel while visiting Blackhawk!

Pros: up to date in the rooms.
Cons: after cleaning, the mini fridge got left open so it wasnt cold. once we closed it, it got cold.
the staff was nice. The room was up to date. Bathroom was Great! Whole place was clean. we didnt leave the hotel but once, everything we needed was on site.

Wife's Birthday celebration.

We arrived at 4:00pm check-in. The room was not inspected. We had to wait about one hour. They took our cell phone number and will call when the inspection was done. Which they did not do. We spent the time at the casino playing the slots. For having to wait, we were comped $50 for dinner. The room was clean and all the towels, wash cloths and etc. Even had bottled water in the fridge I am a paraplegic. The hotel was very accommodating for a handicap person. I like to play craps. I had a hard time reaching the dice. The staff at the table was very helpful and would hand me the dice. Thanks

Great getaway

Location: Location was a 2+ hour drive from where we live, north of Fort Collins. Easy drive. Not that much to do in the immediate vicinity, Great old cemetery
We are not gamblers. There was lots to do. The pool and jacuzzi floor was great. Clean, spacious, temperatures just right in both pool and jacuzzi's. The buffet was very good, on par with a cruise ship buffet. Room was relaxing, spacious, pleasantly decorated and super clean. One thing I would change; a better coffee coffee maker with higher quality coffee, especially since the Starbucks, on premises doesn't open till 7am and I am an early riser, and obviously a coffee addict and like good coffee. 😀 The staff gave us a late check-out of 1:00pm, so no rushing!!

Average; Hotel staff esp. security are clueless

Room was average; hotel security were clueless and offered no help or directions; parking is an issue and valet were not very efficient; money at casino table got stolen.

Disappointed.

I paid a very high price for this room and was terribly disappointed. I paid extra for the "luxury" room which was to include the view of Black Hawk, however, it was a view of the 5th floor of the parking garage. I also paid extra for three people in the room, however I am not sure why I had to pay extra for the third person when I did not even get enough ammedities for one. The room was definitely not a luxury and you received nothing for being honest and paying for all the people in the room. I probably will not go back.
