Great central location in beautiful Georgetown!

Posted Jul 22, 2016
Pros: Clean, nice bed and bath.
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: Walk to Old Town Georgetown and see the old streets with lots of gift shops, art boutiques and restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Georgetown Mountain Inn. The room had knotty pine walls and cute cowboy decor, a comfortable bed and a good newer fridge. There wasn't much breakfast available, but the place is right next door to a good restaurant, and there are other options within walking distance. We enjoyed talking with the guys at the front desk, they were helpful and friendly. Georgetown's Old Town was fun to walk around and we totally loved our tour of the Hotel de Paris there. We'd happily stay again.

Hi Dave, Nice chatting with you, too, and very pleased you'd stay again. Hope you tell your friends. Glad you enjoyed one of the 7 Colorado rooms that we have. The town has handful of good restaurants covering all three meals, all within a 1/4 mile of the hotel. We don't have the room for more than coffee, muffins, juice and oatmeal. Thank you again. Dan

My mom and I traveled to Loveland Ski Area for a few days of skiing. We stayed at the Georgetown Mountain in and had the best time. The stay was extremely flexible and accommodating to our schedule and flight times. The hot tub was extremely relaxing after a long day of skiing and the breakfast was perfect for starting the day! I loved staying at the Georgetown Mountain Inn. We were nearby to the downtown Georgetown area with restaurants and shops, markets, other restaurants, and gas stations. Everything was accessible and the staff and town was extremely friendly. Would recommend staying at Georgetown Mountain in to anyone and plan on staying again in the future!

The last resort when there were no rooms in Denver

Dated rooms could use a deep cleaning. Considerate staff.

Nice mountain hotel

Posted Jun 20, 2016
Pros: It was close to our business obligations.
Location: Since we were working, we didn't get to explore the area as much as we would have liked. We'll come back to do the Georgetown loop train.
We stayed in Georgetown for work. It was raining and cold, but our room was comfy and warm. Pete and Dan were very nice to work with and talk to. This is not downtown Denver! It's a wonderful mountain hotel, not a chain hotel. We would stay here again and we do recommend it to anyone that wants to experience the small town of Georgetown. The Alpine restaurant next door has great Italian food! Thank you Dan and Pete!

This place is a hot filthy mess.

Posted May 14, 2016
Pros: NOTHING!
Cons: EVERYTHING Including teaching the front desk staff not to lear at their guests!
Location: There is a bar next door where the locals all drink.
On check in the front desk staff, leared at me and made me feel like I was not going to be safe. They assigned me to a room that was at the very end of the hotel on the first floor open to the driveway where anyone could have just walked up to the door. The hardware on the door looked like it was for interior doors and made me feel completely unsafe. When I walked up to the room, there was a bench outside beside the door and a half full plastic cup of some liquid was sitting on the ground right beside it as if someone off the street had decided to sit there for a while. There is a bar right next door. When I got inside, it was filthy. There was not only dirt on the comforter but when I pulled it back there was even dirt on the sheets. Plus the sheets look like they had not only been slept on but had been on the bed for years! Aghhhh. I put the bathroom towels on the bed to sleep on and covered myself with my winter coat. A horrible experience. I booked 2 nights but I couldn't even bring myself to stay the second night. I checked out and didn't even bother asking for a refund. DO NOT GO HERE

Just what you would expect from an inn in the mountains. Family run and very nice people.
