Came back because the first experience 2 years ago

Posted Dec 14, 2017
Pros: Location To skiing and the town it’s in.
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: Very close to great skiing and hiking and located in a great little town
Was great. The room stunk like vomit and perfume. The bed had lumpy mattress cover that you could feel under the sheet. The bathroom tub had hair in it. I would expect this room for 50$ a night not 110$

This is a beautiful area with family fun. This motel has historic architecture and an awesome restaurant. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Very nice place and close to all the attractions w

Posted Sep 5, 2017
Cons: We had problem with the shower, easy fix, if they fix it, it would be a nice place.
Location: Georgetown train and mine tour, Georgetown had a lot of different shops, very comfy place. Close to the casinos, and the Rocky Mountain National Park.
we arrive late due to traffic, the staff was very friendly, was waiting for for us and holding our room, made sure we were happy with the room,or need anything. It was just where we needed to be to get where we needed to be to see the attractions.

Hi CJ, Thank you for your business and taking the time to review. Georgetown is great with the shops, restaurants (the new Vietnamese Pho place is super good), and museums and proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park and Mt. Evans.... Dan

Pros: location and decor.
Cons: breakfast, coffee pot in room. better parking
Location: road the Georgetown loop train which was great, drove up Mt Evans which was breathtaking and soaked in Indian Springs Hot Springs which was soothing.
check in was smooth, staff friendly and accomodating. Limited tight parking. room was very clean and comfortable with pleasing outdoorsy decor. Coffee and coffee maker in room would have been appreciated. Breakfast was sparce and space it was served was cramped and uncomfortable.

Hello Janice, Thanks for the overall favorable review and for staying. Coffee and coffee makers are available upon request. We are limited for space for parking and breakfast because the building was built in 1964, and the neighbors are all around. When we are sold out, the restaurant and county parking is available. Rustic charm

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: It has a rustic charm. The rooms have been updated. You are not right in the downtown area and it is peaceful here.
Cons: Nothing, we had a better experience here than we did at some of the big name hotels.
Location: They have a scenic steam train ride to a silver mine. The town is quaint with all kinds of shops and restaurants. Close to skiing and rafting.
We stayed for two nights in the antique room. It was a very comfortable bed.Everything was very clean. The hot tub was outside with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The swimming pool was a good sized pool. The staff was great and very friendly. There is also a dog park next door so if you are traveling with your dog this is a good choice.

Stayed overnight before running in the GTIS half marathon. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, staff extremely friendly. Rested as much as possible before the event. Thanks!

Thank you for appreciating our efforts in our 1964 built hotel of classic lodge design. A lot of new beds, free and new satellite TV and high speed internet, new flat screen HD TVs, new pool resurface (replastering ain't cheap), and our free unadvertised continental breakfast of coffee, muffins, juice, oatmeal, and large selection of hot teas.
