Great accommodations for the $$

Posted Dec 12, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness, price
Location: So much to do in Georgetown; ride the narrow gauge Georgetown Loop train; tour the Hamill House and Hotel de Paris, sip tea, shop!
This place is not fancy, but our room was immaculate and the bed was good. Very convenient location. Great value for the money; I would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable

Posted Oct 3, 2016
Check-in was trivial, as I had pre-booked. The staff was warm and offered me a choice of rooms (even though the web site said I was booking the last available room). I had no problem with noise. The bed was comfortable, although one bed seemed to have a few dog hairs on the sheets. The room was clean and in good working order. The shower had plenty of hot water and good flow. The TV had more channels than I had time to flip through. The drapes closed thoroughly and easily. All the lights worked. There were sufficient electrical outlets. Parking was available right next to the room. The adjacent restaurant was very convenient. For more food options or shopping, it's a pleasant six-block walk to town. There was nothing new or luxurious about the room, but it functioned well and was spacious.

Thank you so much for the review! For those whose expectations about a small ,mountain town, independent hotel are correct, we can be a little gem in the Rockies. Dan

Good basic room

Posted Aug 21, 2016
Pros: Staff, location, neighboring restaurant
Cons: More soaps, shampoos, etc...
Location: Hiking.
We picked this hotel due to price and location to area hikes, especially Gray's Peak. Rooms are basic and fine for a place to crash after hiking all morning. Low on extras, i.e., soap, shampoo, etc.... Bathroom smelled like your old public school restrooms. The owners were great about needs and requests, though. Also, Alpine Restaurant across the parking lot is amazing food! A good, no frills place to stay in Georgetown.

Great central location in beautiful Georgetown!

Posted Jul 22, 2016
Pros: Clean, nice bed and bath.
Cons: Breakfast.
Location: Walk to Old Town Georgetown and see the old streets with lots of gift shops, art boutiques and restaurants.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Georgetown Mountain Inn. The room had knotty pine walls and cute cowboy decor, a comfortable bed and a good newer fridge. There wasn't much breakfast available, but the place is right next door to a good restaurant, and there are other options within walking distance. We enjoyed talking with the guys at the front desk, they were helpful and friendly. Georgetown's Old Town was fun to walk around and we totally loved our tour of the Hotel de Paris there. We'd happily stay again.

Hi Dave, Nice chatting with you, too, and very pleased you'd stay again. Hope you tell your friends. Glad you enjoyed one of the 7 Colorado rooms that we have. The town has handful of good restaurants covering all three meals, all within a 1/4 mile of the hotel. We don't have the room for more than coffee, muffins, juice and oatmeal. Thank you again. Dan

My mom and I traveled to Loveland Ski Area for a few days of skiing. We stayed at the Georgetown Mountain in and had the best time. The stay was extremely flexible and accommodating to our schedule and flight times. The hot tub was extremely relaxing after a long day of skiing and the breakfast was perfect for starting the day! I loved staying at the Georgetown Mountain Inn. We were nearby to the downtown Georgetown area with restaurants and shops, markets, other restaurants, and gas stations. Everything was accessible and the staff and town was extremely friendly. Would recommend staying at Georgetown Mountain in to anyone and plan on staying again in the future!
