Clean nice hotel. Good buffet, resturant way over priced and AL la cart. So beware of extra costs. Huge portions I guess to make up for the price.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights

Pros: Poor considering the cost of the rooms.
Cons: Staff could be more proactive and try to fix problems instead of acknowledging and doing nothing.
Location: There are no stores and nothing besides playing the casino very disappointing.
It was disappointing that we paid almost 500 for 2 nights never got clean towels the door to the bathroom was broken and the elevators would stay stuck. When we notified the front desk we told that it would get fixed and never did. I don't think I would ever go back.

A Big Rip-Off

Pros: The valet parking attendant at night was really good. But his replacement was rude and indifferent.
Cons: Rudeness of all help and staff need to really be worked on. I saw a man eating at a table for 4 and he was moved to a table for 2. Busser never refi
Location: Other than get screwed by the hotel staff, gambling. No swimming pool.
Check in was disappointing. Had to show my Picture ID over and over. Upon registering as a new Guest, I was told that I was to play in the casino for 30 minutes and dinner was to be paid for. To begin with, the Buffet was horribly over priced, $23.00 for dinner. The choices were empty of nearly so. The level of food was barely acceptable. For $23.00 I could have eaten several meals at a home town café. Any way, after playing a slot machine for an hour, when I went to receive my "free" meal, I was told that I had no record of playing. They said I had played just last July. I asked in what year and was told 2011. That was 5 1/2 years ago. They said I could register again but had to play for 30 minutes. I had already gambled more than enough to pay for several meals. I will never stay at the ISLE of Capri, again.

Great stay

Very nice room, I recommend the hot tub suite which has a beautiful jacuzzi bathtub.

Casino Nice, Hotel Room not so nice

Cons: Room quality
Location: within walking distance to other casinos
The casino offered great promotionals and the food was really good but the room was not great. The coffeemaker was in the bathroom next to the toilet. Not very sanitary we did not get to make coffee. The beds need either heavier blankets or more blankets we were pretty cold at night, other than that the staff was really friendly, the parking was great, casino was great.

The hotel seems nice enough. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The walls seem thin, we could hear the woman in the room next to us getting down with her toys. The doors are heavy with no soundproofing and you hear doors slamming all over the place and loud voices in the halls so don't expect to sleep in. The TV had an ear piercing buzz. The shower looked pretty scummy and the towels could've sanded my skin down a few layers if I kept trying to dry off with them.

Hotel OK Black Hawk awesome!!

Pros: I loved the staff at the hotel, the casino, the buffet, and the café.
Cons: Housekeeping vents in room vacuumed, , Missing items (end table lamp) replaced.
Location: Black Hawk: Walking in town, visiting other casinos, restaurants Coors Brewery Boulder - awesome walking in town and many excellent places to eat!!
Staff was very pleasant and quickly changed our room when we noticed the Jacuzzi had water in the tub and what we thought was a broken drain cap. However the style of the cap made it look like it was dented when in actuality it was a curved design. The staff was very accommodating and exchanged our rooms for another room. We are sure that is was purely accidental on housekeeping that there was some water left in the tub but it made me wary of the cleanliness by housekeeping. Rooms definitely need some updating. That being said we had an awesome experience in the casino and in the town of black Hawk. We loved visiting the Coors Brewer and the town of Boulder. It was my first time playing the roulette wheel and they were very helpful teaching me and bearing with my learning curve. We loved the buffet in the hotel and the small café. We (and my visiting relatives) were not at all impressed by the restaurant! Extremely high prices for small portions and not the best food. If your expectations are not extremely high for the hotel Black Hawk is well worth the visit.
