Nice Hotel

Pros: Room access was easy and close to the casino. It was close to the mountains where my family lives, I only had to travel 10 min to get to his house.
Cons: add a microwave in the rooms or at least somewhere in the hotel. Add childcare or activity center for them put enough towels in the room
Location: The strip of Blackhawk is a stretch of Casino hotels, which kids aren't aloud in. Not much for kids to do unless you drive 20-30miles away.
Only thing I had a problem with, was that there wasn't anything for children to do around there. Not in any of the hotels, they were only aloud to go to one place to eat. This made things hard having to drive 20-30 miles to find food for them and things to do. We chose this hotel because its 10min from our families house. The food that was served where they could eat, wasn't even good (only the fries) not much food to chose from. To make it worse the hotel didn't have any microwaves, so we could reheat food etc.

Night Away!

Location: Lots of eating and casinos
Nice place to stay, easy parking, very quiet at night, would stay again, very well stocked bathroom never had to ask for anything more....

No hot water and you can hear toliets flush all night.

rooms need repair

i was gambling so just used the room for sleeping and a shower. 1st night was windy and snowing. windows did not seal and room was cold from wind coming in. asked for a different room on 2nd night. 2nd room the door stuck and really needed a shove to open it from the outside and the bath tub did not drain. staff was nice but i left a personal item in the 1st room and it was never turned in.

Bed was hard and the carpet seemed more out of the 70s but was clean and we'll kept

It was way too hot for my comfort, no AC

Cons: They need AC
It was convenient to the lady luck casino. I didn't like the fact that it was too hot in the room and you can't really open the windows to get fresh air
