Awesome Place

Great hotel. Keys were a little unreliable and slow. But Everything else was very good. I don't recommend. The heated pool on the roof is incredible, the staff are awesome! A great get away.

beautiful hotel in great location

Pros: location, staff, food
Cons: fee for a rollaway bed and its poor condition
Location: plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance; lots of shops nearby; surrounded by beautiful historic homes; quiet and away from city noise
Staff is wonderful; location is fantastic, right in the heart of Georgetown; room is spacious and beautiful! I only have 2 gripes about my recent stay: 1- I requested a rollaway bed in my room and was charged $50 per night for it, and 2- the rollaway bed was INCREDIBLY uncomfortable! I could feel every spring in its mattress. Other than that, the hotel is great and I would certainly stay there again!

Very nice hotel, but very pricey

Pros: Location, staff, "living room" and pool
Cons: A little overly modern in that it was difficult to figure out the simplest actions in the room (lights, drapes, etc.).
Romantic getaway for my husband and me. We had tickets for a concert at Blues Alley - literally around the corner! Great place to stay for that fun venue.

Good location, great service.

Cons: Work space is tight, and more outlets and/or USB charge ports in the work area would be an improvement.
Location: Very convenient to the Georgetown shopping and restaurant scene.
The hotel is very nice, with a comfortable and new-looking appearance for the most part. The rooms are a good size, and the service, from the valet and bellman to the manager, was excellent. The food is very good, but pricey. the location is great for the Georgetown area.

loved our stay

Lovely property, we really enjoyed our stay here. Noticeable things: the towels are enormous, in a good way. The staff is really, over the top, nice and attentive. The property is small but really beautiful. We loved the view of the canal from the bar downstairs. And even in the winter, the roof deck was a great spot to sit and enjoy the view. Great location too. Highly recommended!

Wonderful getaway

Such a wonderful way to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary! The service was impeccable and we loved being able to walk to the waterfront and great restaurants.
