I wont take recommendations from a brother in law

Cons: Read above
Location: Ear the mall and theater
No one at the desk to answer questions, got locked out when I stepped outside without my key, someone asked if they could use our bathroom because their key didn’t work, a man came back from Chicago after using his room for 12 days without the bed being made or room cleaned and a promise to do it while he was gone, and no one touched it

Nice Place to Stay

I was happy with my stay here. Only a few small issues: I would have liked another pillow or two on my bed (but to be fair, I didn't ask the front desk). The breakfast available was granola bar, muffin, oatmeal, and coffee. I would have liked a little more. But outside those small items, the room (including bathroom) was clean. TV had a remote and cable television. The WiFi worked very well. I'm sure I'll stay here again.

Pros: The location close to 28th street
The room was clean, but no coffee, microwave not working also we found someone food in fride. No coffee downstairs on Sunday morning. Continental breakfast disappointing. Muffin in plastic or cereal bar. 75.00 per night is not worth this place. No clean towel unless you ask for them. My Husband and myself stay in Grand rapids quite often, please don't offer this place to other out of tower.

Staff were gossiping about other staff behind a wall and didn’t see me at the counter. No washcloths were in the room. Do not disturb sign missing (petty but oh well) Otherwise surprisingly quiet considering it welcomes animals. Wouldn’t stay again unless desperate.

Very friendly staff however

I was pleased with the hotel staff and the cleanliness of the room. Now the website for the hotel posted that they serve breakfast in the morning. Upon asking the hotel clerk where breakfast would be i was told that it was behind me on a small end table. I was told they offer oatmeal and granola bars as breakfast. I go down the next morning and all their was coffee pots and a hot water pot, very dissapointed.

Disgusted - Never Again

Pros: Room was warm when i entered
Cons: Nearly everything.
Staff was rude or unconcerned. Took three trips to the front desk to get a washcloth. No sample toiletries. Sidewalks weren't shoveled and parking lot snow was piled nearly 3' high behind my car in the morning. Thin walls, lots of noise. only bottom sheet, stained and looked used. blanket scratchy and smelled funny. Wouldn't refund because I had been in the room for more than an hour. Ended up rolling up in the emergency blanket I keep in my trunk. Nasty olive green and yellow-green with brown decor and my socks were gray on the bottom from walking on the sticky carpet. Tried to motel wi-fi and received so many security warnings that I gave up and went to a coffee shop.

Disappointed

Day of check in, desk clerk not friendly. No ice, no hand towels, full kitchen but nothing in it.

Close to where we needed to be.

I was in the middle of being waited on, she answered the phone and made a reservation. No top sheet on the bed, no plastic cups or anything in the kitchenette, one tiny soap in bathroom. Bed was hard and room smelled of food
