This was a suitable airport hotel. There was nothing unpleasant regarding the stay but nothing that stood out either.

Convenient to airport

Good value for the money - their shuttle service to the airport didn't start when I needed to be there, so they contacted their "sister hotel" and had their shuttle service stop by and pick us up. Very convenient!

The hotel

Pros: The pool/hot tub was nice
Location: Dave and Buster's is near by, plenty of shopping.
I felt the hotel was ok. Bed and pillows weren't super comfy. The room looked clean and the pool area was nice. I only really talked with the girl at the front desk and she could have at least pretended she liked her job.

First time and it was great!

Location: Restaurants and stores around
Stayed here in October of 2017. It was just an over night stay from Muskegon. I had come over on the Greyhound bus that afternoon. Had no problems at all. The best thing about this place is that it is off the roadway so your not picking up all that traffic noise which makes it easier to sleep. Will stay here again if needed.

Front desk clerk disinterested

The front desk clerk took no time to explain where room was, where to come in or elevator location. Just laid keys on desk in front of me and went about her business. There was no one else checking in. Our room had not been cleaned, wash cloth laying on floor next to bed. Wasn’t hidden or under anything, could not be missed if someone was cleaning.

Hotel close to the airport

This hotel name said airport &We needed a room close to the airport for 1 night however it was about 5 miles from the airport. The overall appearance was poor workmanship. Our room was spacious with a very good bed & all the necessary amenities. Did not have a real breakfast.

Ok for traveling

Let me start by saying that I would stay here again; HOWEVER, it's the little details that make the difference between a "3" and a "5" rating. Upon checkin, it would be nice to be told that my room is on the OTHER side of the hotel vs. finding out after wending my way through the hallways. I could have gotten in my car and driven to the other side and parked next to the outside door which Would’ve been significantly closer to the room. To say that there is a 'restaurant' on-site is a bit of an exaggeration; they have a room set aside with tables and chairs. The menu appeared to be comprehensive, but when you go to dinner and the lights in the restaurant are turned off (even though the sign says open from 4 - 10) and you go to the bar to ask if the restaurant is open and the menu is tossed to you over the bar, you don't get the impression that it's going to get any better than that. Lots of good places to eat nearby, as well as shopping. The room was VERY clean.

Work Trip

Cons: Put a sign out front, almost past the hotel due to no road front sign
I stayed at the Grand Rapids airport location for 4 nights while on a work trip, the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean and orderly every day. Very close to several restaurants and stores right off of 28th street.
