“The apartment is very big. But the lighting in the loft got lots of bugs and they are flying around at the evening. The door lock of the toilet at downstair is not fixed.”

“There were roaches all around the house. And the carpets had terrible smell. The kitchen was well equipped.”

“An absolutely amazing place and it was a great pleasure to have been able to stay here especially with my dog. I enjoyed learning about the building and the incredible man who had foresight to come to Australia and create many special houses. Whilst staying at the Hermitage we dined at The Emerald restaurant just across the road. If you get a chance go and enjoy their delicious menu.”

“A lovely, helpful lady greeted us. It's an older-style backpackers' accommodation with great kitchen facilities. However, don't do what I did and put everything in the kitchen. At midnight, I needed a bottle for my one-year-old and didn't realize the kitchen would be closed. Thankfully, my baby was content with strawberry milk. There's a first time for everything. We'll definitely be back in the future.”
